Fantastic experience: Galway bay physio has been my go-to place for deep tissue massage for the last 4 years. Staff have always been helpful and understanding. They take the time to discuss issues and give tips/tricks. They have a really easy to use website to book sessions across their 4 locations. Keep an eye on it, they run offers every now and then.

Fantastic experience: Visited Emmett for a long standing problem. He very quickly focused in on where the issue was. He gave me some very targeted dry needling. He took me through some appropriate exercises to do and gave me a video link to make sure I can do them correctly at home. I was very impressed with the professionalism and am noticing improvement already. I’ll be back in a few weeks to review progress.

Fantastic experience: I had my first physio session with galway bay physio last week and found it very good. I was in terrible pain going in but got some work done along with dry needling. I was also given some exercises to do at home and am finding relief when I do them. Im looking forward to my next session. Would highly recommend them for anyone suffering with muscular pain.

Fantastic experience: Never went to a physio before because I tought they just give you a massage and thats about it, but had to go after a knee surgery recently and they showed me exercices and tested my improvement on different ways. My physio was Darren and he took his time to explain to me every single thing that I had questions about. I will keep going whenever I need it thats for sure. They told me at the hospital that it was gonna take 3 months at least until I can go back to exercices as deadlifts or any heavy weight lifting, took me about 6 weeks to start training with weights and 2 months after I am back into my normal routine thanks to listening to Darren and doing whatever I was told to do. I really recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Galway Bay physio was recommended to me by a friend who said if you give them visit your pain will be no more. And how true this turned out to be. I had a chronic pain in my right hip and lower back. I was seen by Emmett Hartigan who is an amazing physio. He done some dry needling of my glutes and recorded me doing 2 exercises of my phone. These exercises were excellent and having them on the phone was great to make sure I was doing them right. So after 1 visit and 3 to 4 days of exercises the pain in my hip and lower back is completely gone. No need of a hip replacement which was the next step before I made the decision to see Emmett. Trust me if you suffer with any injury pain give them a visit.

Fantastic experience: Broke my ankle and damaged ligaments a few months back. The guys were great throughout my recovery, i was given some great exercises for building strength in my ankle again. I also was given v helpful advice that raised my own body awareness during recovery which has left me with no long term affects. I was worried that I might have difficulty surfing properly again when I initially got the injury but after my rehab I've been out on the board and not getting any pain or stiffness in the ankle. I would recommend them very highly

Fantastic experience: I have been a return customer for the past five years. While Emmett has been my main physio, I have also had sessions with a number of staff members when needed. All physio sessions have helped immensely to recover from injuries and have taught me how to prevent recurring injuries. There is a strong emphasis on teaching correct stretching/exercise techniques to speed up recovery.

Fantastic experience: Galway bay physio is great they answer all your questions at reception and are so fast with answering your questions. So far in Atherny clinic at district fitness gym Atherny I’ve seen David Sheehan and Stephen Coleman they are very good physio therapists. I’d definitely recommend them both to go and see if you need any physio sessions.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and really good Physios. I had a really bad injury last year and Ciarán and his team got me to the start line of Ironman Cork. Not a hope I would have managed to get to the start line let alone the finish line without their help. Can't recommend them enough. Even now with the online service, it helps with keeping on top of niggles so they don't become an injury. The assessments help to identify subtle changes of exercises and routines to help progression and keep me on track.
