Fantastic experience: I booked a session with Paul after I was having trouble with my Achilles tendon during training for a half-marathon. It was very easy to book the session online, and I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Paul was very professional, he listened and really tried to understand the injury and everything that could have caused it. He gave me a very clear explanation of what was wrong and was very reassuring and positive that I would be able to solve it in time for my race. He tested my capacity during each session and set out a plan for me each week, including rest, rehabilitation, and then a new training plan to prepare me for the race. He helped me regain my confidence in managing my injury, allowing me to continue running. I would certainly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: Hi dear After a surgery for L3/4 & 5 decompression on the 17/10/24, I have been referred to proactive physiotherapist for a rehabilitation program and I was very lucky to get Mr Paul as my physiotherapist, I was seen very quickly at the proactive gym. Following surgery I was doing my physiotherapy assessment with Mr Paul when Mr Paul discovered another issue with the lack of body stability ,mobility and strength on my right side, so he contacted Mr Sam Lynch that prompted react with full body investigation and find the cause of my symptoms been c3/c4 myelopathy and book another surgery. On the 8th of April 25 I got my 2nd surgery, (c3/c4 ACDF). Then I got back to proactive physio to continue my rehab program Mr Paul and staff were very friendly and I felt very confident with my care. I followed the rehabilitation programme exercises I was given very carefully and it helped me to get back on track I am not 100% but I will be at 100% by time. I can say I get to proactive physio in a 40% of condition and I got out of there with 85% after 12 sessions. I do not have words to describe how I feel about proactive physio and in spacial Mr Paul. I am delighted that Mr Paul with his expertise and skills helps me get back on track. My Rehabilitation Program was of the highest order and every avenue I received attention of the highest level. Paul was very inspiring and very precise with what I was needing and directed me with the best exercises for me. I would highly recommend Paul for anyone seeking physiotherapy. Negative experience: Appointment for 7.15 no sign of anyone while I sat in the reception till 7.35 and considering its closes at 8pm I was not going to allow a rush job. Poor professionalism.

Fantastic experience: Saw Paul for my ankle and leg issues that had been ongoing for several years. After a thorough and very detailed assessment I was given simple rehab exercises to do at home. After a month, the difference was amazing... Reduced my need for painkillers, improved my strength, stamina and self confidence !!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone

Positive experience: After an injury, I visited Paul Sweeney in ProActive Physio in Oranmore. After just three sessions of physiotherapy with Paul Sweeney, my left leg was fully back on track. Paul was very enthusiastic, inspiring and very precise. He taught me directed exercises to do each week which strengthened the muscles in my left leg. Fantastic experience: I sought help from ProActive Physio following a hip arthroscopy procedure. I had previously been a client of Michelle, and found her to be excellent, and did not hesitate to return. This time round Clara was my physio over a period of several months. I first attended her roughly a week after the surgery, when I was in quite a lot of pain. Her advice from the outset was practical and her instructions easy to follow. Every consultation was followed up via email with instructions and diagrams related to the bespoke rehabilitation programme she had created for me. Now, 4 months after surgery, I have concluded my rehab, and am exercising without pain. I would not hesitate to recommend Clara, Michelle or any of the team at ProActive Physio to anyone seeking a physio in the area. Excellent experience all round and I am delighted with my outcome.

Fantastic experience: I began migraine physio treatment with Michelle 5 months ago. The frequency and intensity of my migraines have decreased 80-90%. I have had migraines for 15+ years and didn’t anticipate any massive change but what Michelle has done for me has genuinely been life changing. We found pro active physio in Oranmore flexible with appointment times and excellent in dealing with the kids and diagnosis of the injury. Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend Michelle highly enough! I had tried a number of physios for a glute injury and had almost resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn't be able to run pain-free again until I went to Michelle. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a personal approach, making sure that the exercises she gives you are the right ones for you and you will be able to incorporate them into your daily/weekly routine. Fantastic experience: Had to get physio on my ankle after a second operation on it. Wanted to ensure I went to a highly recommended Physio and was recommended ProActive Physio by my GP. Katy was my Physio and from the get go I knew I was in capable hands. Katy gave me a detailed physio plan from the start. She never pushed me but constantly encouraged me to keep up my physio and apply it on a daily basis. My recovery was slow initially, but Katy had said it would take time. Even during COVID she did zoom calls and continued to monitor my process. With the help of ProActive Physio namely Katy, I was able return to work quicker than expected and made a great recovery. CANNOT RECOMMENDED PROACTIVE PHYSIO ENOUGH. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Fantastic experience: Pro Active Physio were originally recommended to me by my GP. I first used them a few years back for treatment on an old neck injury where an MRI scan had shown disc damage. After treatment including acupuncture, massage and advice on rehab exercise there was a substantial improvement in the condition which has been maintained ( with exercise) to this day. More recently I went back to Pro Active with a lower back/pelvic injury I sustained trying to do a low lift of an awkward heavy object. The injury happened back in October. I wrongly believed that the injury would clear itself up. I left it until January when I was still in quite a bit of pain especially when seated or trying to do even light work. I had 7 or 8 sessions with Pro Active and I am delighted with the results. I would say that I am back to where I was before the injury. I am pretty sure that I would not have achieved this excellent outcome on my own.
