Fantastic experience: The man knows what he's doing. Highly recommended. I was on holiday in Lanzarote, Spain. On the 2nd day I hurt my neck so bad I couldn't adjust it by myself. I suffered through the pain during the trip as the pain was irregular(on and off). After I landed back in Ireland I couldn't get any appointments with my local chiropractor, and I remembered I had visited Dr. Best before regarding my lower back. Fantastic experience: Had been going to Peter for months got great relief for a bad back however I went to make another weekly appointment and was told there was a problem not specified and I could make an Appointment for the following week with no charge for the Inconvenience so I was happy with that until the next week came along and got the same message this happened on 3 occasions and when I E Mailed to ask what the problem was I was told maybe I should see someone there on a Saturday who would be more appropriate for my age I was under the impression Peter was the only one there I dont know what the problem was as I E Mailed him and got no answer back very strange the whole thing

Negative experience: The worst experience at an Osteopath anywhere in the world ! Firstly, Peter changed that apt from 2pm to 2 15pm , then to 2 30 pm, fine, whatever, my back was in pain. I have been going to osteoapths for 20 years in many countries and this experience shocked me ! Next up , he cannot stop talking, i asked him to not talk when i was on the table as he is working on my nervous system and back- and I am tired and my back is very agitated. he could not not talk, he was constantly saying he has been doing this for years and dont worry and he knows what he is doing ? - only people that do not know what they are doing say such things and for no reason. he is bitchign about hotel prices ? not ok, i need a bit of calm please... He then goes on to answer the phone in the middle of the session ? he is very harsh and not gentle, he uses tigerbalm without asking first ? the smell is intense and hard to get out of clothing, at least ask, as i was supposed to be going out after, but had to change my plans- no osteopath ever uses tiger balm, another sign he does not know what he is doing, his breath smelled like liquor, he is talking about his kids and hotel prices and i just didnt say anthing-- i wanted my back fixed and i wanted to leave . In the end, he wants to do a neck adjustment, he states no other osteopaths know this maneuver, only him ? he starts to do it, im in pain, i say stop.. my left side of my neck and shoulder are now in a spasm, he does not apologize, i ask him to fix it, he has an attitude.. he charges me as a new patient .. i was in such shock and my neck was cramping up , i just paid, i could not argue- i will be protesting this with my bank.. i have never walked out of an osteoapth apt hurt ! no apology, such unprofessionalism, answering a call mid session, hurting me, then telling me that all the other osteopaths i have seen dont know what they are doing ? ok for 20 years ? when i travel and get tired, my back does the same thing , and usually when i leave an osteo office, i am in immediate relief, not this time, this man hurt my neck, has -00 professionalism and actually did not want to fix my neck.. shocking i am still in shock, i had to cancel my plans cuz im in pain and upset... do not go to this man!

Negative experience: Wouldn't trust this man. Just terrible, came for simple lower back adjustment, he did not perform the full adjustment so that I would have to come back for another session. Spent €70 as I am a student but tried to overcharge me on the machine €75 when I wasn't looking. Was 15 minutes late and spent more than half the session filling time with chat about himself, just wanted to fill the time rather than helping my body. Very slow, ineffective and a liar.

Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled with osteopath PB for 10:45 AM today, but unfortunately, they didn’t show up. I arrived early and waited downstairs, but despite multiple attempts to buzz and contact them via phone and WhatsApp, I received no response. My appointment was confirmed yesterday, and I even have a confirmation email. I wasted my entire morning and even paid €15 for a taxi to get there on time. This was a very disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: Came in for problems in different areas including neck and shoulders, explaining that I believed the pain in those places was radiating through to my arms. Peter helped fix these problems, giving me a clear indication of what the problem was, and as well as this gave me multiple different ways to improve the situation in my own time. I’ve seen a few negative reviews on here but my personal experience with Peter was pretty great. :)

Fantastic experience: Best in Business. I had bad back and neck pain which got to a point where I couldn’t turn my head. I went to physios, dry needling and deep messages over the years not to mention anti inflammatory injections & diazapan. Peter knew what the issue was within 5 minutes of talking him. Amazingly two days post appointment I’m 100%. I wish I went to Peter years ago.

Negative experience: ⚠️ Deliberately Dangerous Practice I suffered a neck injury five years ago, and in such cases, it is not permitted for an osteopath to manipulate a patient's neck without prior medical approval. Despite informing Peter about my injury, he responded by saying, "I am the best osteopath in Ireland; you will thank me for letting me work on your neck." He did not ask for any details about the nature of my injury or seek additional information. This constitutes an illegal practice. Worse, he ignored my clear refusal of consent and began manipulating my neck without my permission. When I firmly asked him to stop, he refused to listen and told me that I didn’t understand my own condition. For my safety, I had no choice but to leave his clinic. I strongly caution others to avoid this practitioner. In response to your previous message: You did not even ask me what kind of injury I had, nor did you make any diagnosis or ask me any questions about my condition. My previous message was only stating facts, and as far as I know, I am not an AI. Your support was not adapted to a real medical condition.

Negative experience: While Peter may have received some positive reviews, our experience was unfortunately not in line with those. We encountered issues with the duration and quality of work provided. Despite being told the session would last 45 minutes, we found that the actual time spent was only around 20 to 25 minutes, which felt insufficient for the service we expected. So beware, the only reason he has so many positive reviews is if you, give him positive review, in exchange of that, he will send you the exercises that you need to do. This discrepancy left us feeling that we did not receive the full value for what we paid.

Negative experience: DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Read all the 1 star reviews, please. There is a very common theme. I booked a 10am Saturday morning appointment with Peter. I had read some good reviews, and because I was experiencing some discomfort, I was very much looking forward to having the appointment. I received a confirmation email that my appointment was secured a couple of days prior. I arrived 15 minutes early as normal, and when I got to the door, I rang the bell for the clinic. I tried 3-4 times, and every time I rang, I got an automated message saying 'this person cannot be reached'. I googled the opening hours to double check it was open, and on Google, it states the clinic opens at 8 am on a Saturday. So I waited a few minutes and tried the button again, no luck. I then decided to call the number in the confirmation email, and to my disappointment, I received that same automated message that I heard when calling the button at the door. I was now running late and decided I had no choice but to try the other businesses in the building to see if someone could let me in to access the clinic. After trying almost every other business place, I finally managed to get through to a lady who buzzed me in. When I reached the clinic floor, I was shocked to see the clinic door was closed and there was no sign of activity. I knocked on the door, sat, and waited to see if I could hear any activity. Nothing!! So I tried to open the door and it was locked. Confused, I decided that I couldn't wait any longer and start to make my way home whilst continuing to call Peter with no answer. I had travelled almost 1 hour into Dublin city, paid for parking, and had to travel the same distance home without having my appointment!!! Leaving bad reviews is not my thing, but I am so unbelievably disappointed and would like to ensure no one else had this same experience. I have since spoken to a friend who has had the exact same experience with Peter but with multiple appointments some time ago, so this behaviour has been going on for some time. It's honestly mad how people get away with this. This is not how you run a business, zero communication, and zero accountability. It's simply not good enough!!!!

Negative experience: I experienced a total lack of professionalism with Peter Best. He was consistently late to appointments, reducing every 30-minute session I paid for to just 10 minutes. He often criticized other osteopaths as if he were the only qualified professional, which I found unnecessary and ironic, given his own lack of professionalism. On top of that, today he didn’t show up at all for my appointment and ignored my calls and messages when I tried to follow up. I definitely won't be coming back and would recommend steering clear to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a back problem, which occurred ‘out of the blue’. After 2 weeks it hadn’t resolved itself and was showing no signs that it would. Peter fixed it in one visit. What more needs to be said? He’s efficient and effective and very easy to deal with.

Negative experience: Very unpleasant experience! I tried twice to book a time with this practioner, asked for the time off at work to make it to the appointment in the afternoon and, both times, just around lunch time, which means just a couple of hours before, I received the exact same message from the osteopath stating that due to "family incident" the appointment had been cancelled. No further assistance or alternative provided. On the second time, I replied to this message and explained that was the second time this was happening, and, that this wasn't the most professional way to deal with customer on the day of the appointment. To which he simply replied with "yes". Considering the time of both text messages on both days and, the fact that, in both days the afternoon had a lot of spots available to book, it just seems that he checks his calendar for the afternoon and if there are only 1 or 2 appointments, they will be cancelled with this standard excuse.

Fantastic experience: Prompt service. Got a same day appt . Handy for parking and good location . Was in pain with my neck and upper back . Peter got to the problem immediately and I highly recommend him. I have seen him for a few issues on and off and he does excellent work.

Negative experience: Booked 2 separate appointments on different days with Peter and both were cancelled "due to an incident at the clinic". Although I did receive a text message 2.5 hours prior to my appointments, unfortunately I did not see the last one prior to arriving at the clinic.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I didn’t have the best experience with Peter. My first session with him was fine and I noticed a slight difference in the pain so I booked in for another session. The next session I had booked in for, I received a text about 45 minutes prior to my session saying that he had an accident and had to cancel. Now looking back on previous reviews, Peter seems to have A LOT of “accidents” which makes me believe this isn’t the truth. Anyways he texts me saying he will offer me a free session to make up for the inconvenience (which it was as I had taken time off work for this appointment so it completely wasted my time) Anyways, I booked in again to avail of my free session and during the session Peter kept saying “I’ll sort you out today” and I thought he was referring to my free session he offered for cancelling at short notice but when it came to the end of the session, he asked me to pay €60 (which was only €15 off the price of a session if he thought that was a generous discount) I asked him about the free session he offered me and he said “oh a girl that works with me sent that message and I can’t do a free session” Now I could tell he was lying through his teeth when he said this as the message I received said “Hi this is Pete the Osteopath” why on earth would a girl who works with you pretend to be you in a message??? I’ve also never seen a girl there in the clinic so I am not even convinced he has a girl working for him and it just seemed like a white lie. I foolishly booked in again but then thought about it and I went with my gut instinct to avoid this practice so I cancelled and I won’t be returning. I also noticed an increase in my pain after the last session so I would highly recommend people to read and trust previous reviews before booking in.

Fantastic experience: Peter Best is an experienced and very knowledgeable Osteopath , I have been attending Peter for 8 years .First for Back issues due to long distance driving over many years and 3 years ago for an acute episode of Sciatica, both times Peter was brilliant relieving the pain and stiffness and restoring my alignment allowing me to continue my career when it looked bleak . I still attend Peter about 3 times a year for maintenance of my back issues and everything is going well. I cannot recommend Peter highly enough

Negative experience: Received a text message 2 hours before my scheduled appointment today to say they had to cancel due to an "accident". This is the 2nd time this place has cancelled an appointment on me. On the first occasion I had bought a Groupon voucher and was on route to the location when I got an email to say they had to cancel. Seems to be a bit of a coincidence with this place!

Negative experience: Cancelled on me the first time (understandable ofc) and offered a free treatment. Cancelled the appointment two more times, so I asked out straight if it was because he impulsively offered a free service the first. He replied “yes”. I’ve never been met with such unprofessional behaviour. It’s probably a good thing that he cancelled because God know’s if he would’ve have done more damage than good like the reviewer before me. I waited three weeks just to be turned down like this. Absolute time waster. I’d be very dubious to receive a service from someone who had no regard for people’s time and health like that

Negative experience: Worst osteo that I have consulted. I came for a a pain for my left shoulder and after 2 sessions my pain has been increased after the manipulation he did to me! In addition, for my 3rd appointment, the osteo was not present and I didn't receive a message to express his apologies and despite my email to him I never heard back. In addition, as my pain worsened with a deterioration of my ligaments, I had to consult a new specialist to got a new MRI and a new treatment. I really regret having seen this osteopath.

It only took 2 sessions with Peter for the pain to reduce significantly and a 3rd session to get rid of it completely. Fantastic experience: After ~6 months of lower back pain and countless Physio’s, MRI’s and been told to lay in bed I came across Peter. Peter identified what was actually happening with my body which was something that was never going to be solved by strength work. Fantastic experience: Treat my scapular dyskinesia on the right side in 2022, which that time nobody could help. First appointment he got to the roots of the problem, when he worked on my AC joint. Next day, I could lift my right arm much more easily than before. Also my right arm started to get straight out of my head. I had 4 session and some exercises my problem gone. Today I came back as I have a problem in my left shoulder. In the first session, again, I felt the pain been realised and I'm able to lift my arm. Very professional and efficient.

Negative experience: I visted Peter last Sunday with a Groupon voucher and found my experience to be very uncomfortable. First my app was pushed back, that was fine, but he rang me a while later and changed the time again, completely forgetting that he had already changed my slot. Then I arrived and he was another 15 minutes late. My slot was then changed from a 45 minute session to a 30 minute one. During the session I was asked the same questions over and over. At first I thought, he just wants to be sure, but then he would ask again so inquesitively it seemed like he had completely forgotten that he had just asked. He didn't seem very present and I felt like he wasn't paying attention. Our conversation seemed to go in circles. This made me extremely nervous to have work done on my back, I didn't feel safe. Unfortunately I didn't have the courage to get up and walk out right then and there. I also felt uncomfortable with the handling of my clothes. He left for a moment while I took of my top off to lay down which I appreciated and he gave me a blanket for when I was lying on my back, but he pulled my bra up higher and my leggings down lower without warning. I feel like this is something that I should have been in control of. I didn't feel any better after the session, altough he did say I should see him again. There was also zero covid protocal aside from a mask. No questions, no temperature checks. No obvious signs that hand santizer was being used. I did give Peter feedback in an email where he offered a refund and free session, but my feedbacks intention wasn't to get 30 euro back, it came from a place of genuine concern. I hope future patients recieve the amazing service he seems to have provided to so many others and not the very odd service I recieved.

Fantastic experience: I'm feeling so much better thanks to Pete. I was stretching about 8 weeks ago now and something in my neck "popped". I'm usually pretty active but hadn't been for an extended period of time, and this had happened twice before but gone away. The pain this time however never left, it was migrating from my neck to under my shoulder blades, I was honestly terrified something was seriously wrong. I have never been to an osteopathe or a chiropractor anything like that so I was pretty nervous. Pete came up with a plan for me and eased me into only what adjustments I was comfortable with- I would have kept seeing him but he assured me 3 sessions would be enough and sure enough it's now two weeks post the third session and my pain is gone! There's a tightness there we basically realised is just coming from a lifestyle change (took a desk job two years ago ) and is something I can easily correct and maintain with a more active lifestyle, but I couldn't have even started trying to have that if we hadn't unlocked the pain and tightness that was going from my left neck into my shoulder and sometimes down my arm. I could barely turn my head a month ago! I'm very grateful to him for everything and will definitely return- though here's hoping I never need to! Thanks again Pete!

Ive been going to him the last 3 years and haven't looked back friendly amd clean premises no issue with me bringing the little lad when can't get a sitter.

After only 3 treatments I was in much less pain and was able to start walking again and try and improve my flexibility.. I would highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Having gone to AE and being diagnosed with two nerve root impingements causing, all I can describe as considerable and almost unbearable pain in the right leg and knee. After one visit to see Peter the pain had significantly improved and after another couple of visits my leg and knee was feeling a lot better.
