Fantastic experience: I came to Daren in a time of crisis and pain. This very non intrusive and gentle technique has proven of great value to me. Plus Darennis a fabulous practitioner and very empathetic, he put me at ease right away. Nerve pain had me on edge and in despair, this treatment is giving me reassurance (neuro)psychologically and also increasing stability. I'm noticing the positive impact after only 2 sessions with positive developments after the first visit already. For me there are surely many more sessions to come hopefully not for pain reasons but for maintenance when I'm better.

Fantastic experience: When I met Daren, I was passing through a hard time, after being laid off, having visa issues, and issues with my shape. I started our sessions. As a coach, he was driving me to question all my story and see my career and my life with different eyes. Fantastic experience: I attended Dún Danu with very frequent lower back pain, and constant upper arm pain due to a freak accident where I ruptured my long bicep. I had a remarkable change in my lower back after the first session, and after 4 sessions I no longer have constant pain in my upper arm. Fantastic experience: Great holistic approach and broad expertise. Treatments are relaxing and pain-free, but very effective. Daren is very helpful and happy to answer all questions thoroughly and clearly. After a series of 4 treatments the knee pain I originally came to him with was gone, and on top of that misalignment of my shoulders and nervous pains in all limbs have improved immensely. Fantastic experience: Posting on behalf of Mary Conroy: I’m nearly 70 and have had problems with my knee since involved in an accident in my 20’s. Problems with bending, swelling, walking, general pain, for at least the last 30 years. Was advised a knee replacement was the next step. I completed the course of 4 with Daren approximately 2 months ago and I have full bend back in my knee. I have had no swelling or pain since my sessions and I’m now thinking of a maintenance program. Fantastic experience: I was in agony for 2 years with a shoulder injury that lead to pains in other places, I seen physios and not one of them could help me, I found out then about this and couldn’t believe it was real at first so when I went I didn’t think it was going to help and after the first session we had my shoulder pain was literally nearly gone. Fantastic experience: A unique experience that has helped with pain relief and reduced my headaches and migraines. In the 30 years after the vehicle accident, I have found few treatments that have been effective for pain relief. Daren's approach and the Amatsu treatment differ from the traditional Western approaches and is an exciting experience that has given pain relief and overall better well-being.

Fantastic experience: After years of hip and back pain, in 4 sessions of Amatsu therapy I’m able to walk without a limp and can get in and out of the car freely. It’s hard to explain but the soft tissue therapy & light touches used in this treatment just work. Before this I had a running prescription for Difene and at one point couldn’t sleep from the pain & needed a cortisone injection. I haven’t touched anti inflammatory tabs in over a month now. First time in 4 years. The clinic is spotless and cosy so you will feel very relaxed during the session. Would highly recommend Darren.

Fantastic experience: Recently i was diagnosed with frozen shoulder, the pain was so intense that it was affecting my sleep. I was recommend to try Dún Danu Amatsu Clinic by a friend who said it helped so many people with different issues. My alternative was to take a lot of pain medication, stomach tablets and injections into the shoulder which my doctor warned could result in an infection in the shoulder. So I booked the appointment and I didn’t know what to expect. Long story short Daren is a gentleman, he made me feel comfortable, guided and explained what he does and what he was going to do to try and help me. After the first appointment I went home and had a full nights sleep (unbroken sleep) I had four sessions in total and as a result I’m not taking any medication. I’ve recommend Daren to so many and would to many more.

Fantastic experience: I visited Daren at DunDanu Clinic in Dec & Jan 2023 for a 4 session bundle of Amatsu. Having spent 15+ yrs in on-going niggling pain in shoulders & neck I welcomed another therapy to help ease. In the past I have tried everything from physio, acupuncture, physical therapy, deep tissue. While all helped in ways the affect was always short-lived and the issue soon returned. Daren was there to greet me with his welcoming smile. As I stepped through, I felt this place was special. He has thought of every little detail to make the space a sanctuary. After a detailed consultation the session began. Very different to any therapy I have had before, so gentle. My head doubted this could ease my aching joints but my heart & soul were enjoying it. Sure enough the pain eased over the coming days...but more than that, I eased....I was gentler, more patient, slower (in a good way). Then second session this went further still. I could do yoga moves I could never my whole life, my energy increased, I was actually happier! Following my 4 sessions and to this date I am pain free. I often travel back to the sanctuary in my head during stressful times and allow Amatsu to wash them away. Daren has a gift, not just of Amatsu, he is a special human being that can connect with you on an energetic level and help you heal yourself. As the famous ad says 'Just. Do. Fantastic experience: I went to Daren as my 2 year old was suffering with chronic constipation. The doctor had prescribed movicol which was working at softening her stools but I didn’t want her to be on that every day for the next few years and I wanted to solve the root of the problem. I explained the situation to Daren and he was so helpful. We did four sessions with him and my two-year-old who is fairly strong headed was completely relaxed with him from day one. Our last session was about two months ago and things have improved for her so much, she rarely gets constipated and is far more relaxed when it comes to it. There was obviously a blockage of some sort both physically and mentally which has really improved since seeing Daren. highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The moment I first stepped into Daren's clinic, I felt welcomed. I vividly remember the incense sticks, the fresh water and the feeling that I am surrounded by great wisdom. Fast forward 4 Amatsu sessions with Daren, phenomenal changes happened in my body: * my shoulders became levelled * my posture has improved (shoulders are being held back more, I feel and I look taller and lighter, I have less of an arched back) * my right foot is straighter when I stand and walk * my balance has improved/I have a better sense of proprioception (as I subsequently learnt the scientific term too :)) In a nutshell, Daren is very knowledgeable, kind and has a gift for his work: he is very good at explaining the science and very talented at making you feel and see with your own eyes the benefits of the treatment.

Fantastic experience: Transformative. That is the best way that I can think of describing my recent course of four treatments at Dún Danu Amatsu Clinic. In the future I will be incorporating regular Amatsu re-balancing into my life to assist with my overall wellbeing, indeed it would be foolish of me not to. I honestly didn't know what to expect when starting Amatsu treatment, if anything at all. When I first presented myself for treatment, I was feeling quite stressed and run down. Seems that there was nothing to worry about in relation to the treatments. I found Daren to be friendly and very welcoming. His calm demeanour helps to create a safe space for open and honest discussions about personal health. He listens attentively, is fully engaging and thoroughly explains the process involved in the Amatsu Therapy. His level of passion for and belief in Amatsu Therapy is obvious and infectious. Since the 4-treatment course was completed, I find myself sleeping better, less stressed, in much better general form. I now feel more confident in myself. What I genuinely didn't expect from the treatments was for my layout of body structure to change, and for the better. It seems that the Amatsu Therapy has corrected my previous poor posture, even to the extent where friends have noticed that my natural stance has now become more upright. This is a massive benefit for me. For context, over the years I have been a frequent user of a walking aid as a result of my Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis 15 years ago. Amatsu Therapy will potentially, in my mind at least, assist with my long-term goal of staying out of a wheelchair. Fantastic experience: I have just completed my fourth session with Daren and it is incredibly difficult to find words powerful enough to describe how I’m feeling. From the moment I entered Daren’s beautiful wooden cabin, I felt completely at ease, cocooned and listened to. Fantastic experience: Since my first period I had experienced extreme pain and a long list of physical and mental health issues around this time of the month. I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 18 years old when the condition had started to affect me any time in my cycle and it was so bad at times I would’t be able to get out of bed. I went the medical route at first and had surgery which removed the endometriosis and gave me a life without pain for a few years. However, as doctors warned me, this was a chronic condition and the symptoms would come back sooner or later. When that happened a year ago, I decided to try alternative solutions, from diet to yoga, acupressure, etc, which gave me some relief but the pain would still be unbearable for the week before and the first few days of my period. In this quest is when I met Daren and started my Amatsu treatment with him. I had 4 treatments with one week intervals between each session. The treatments were very gentle and respectful, and Daren made me feel very comfortable at all times. He explained to me very clearly the areas that were affected by this condition and how he would be handling the treatment. He also understands that this is not just about the physical pain but that it can go beyond that, which is more than I can say for doctors that treated me in the past. From the first session I noticed an improvement in my symptoms. I had no PMS symptoms that month and during my last period after my treatment I had only a very dull and mild pain the first two days, which is nothing compared to the pain I used to get two months ago. I am able to carry on with my usual activities and I feel healthy, happy and even excited to get my period now. I am so grateful for this and I fully recommend Daren’s treatments.
