Fantastic experience: First of all I want to thank Mr Petre Keane for putting me back on the right track after suffering from pain on my neck and shoulder which led to numbness on my fingers. Few sessions and I was like new. Still some to go but feels good to be back to normal. From the first call and through all the sessions he’s been top professional. Fantastic experience: Peter is a great Physio. In my case he performed tests to diagnose the exact root of the issue, gave a treatment, then did some rehab exercises with me, then sent me a video of the exercises to do at home. Very thorough and resolved my knee issue in 2 sessions.

Negative experience: I brought my daughter to Mr.Keane in January and he said she needed insoles so I paid for them there and then and was told they would be ready for collection in a day or two, it is now nearly three months later and we still haven't received the insoles. My husband and I have both called to Mr.Keanes office, phoned and emailed on numerous occasions and have been fobbed off with excuses and apologies everytime, the last time I spoke to Mr.Keane was the 20th of March and I asked for a refund but he once again said he was sorry about the delay and would post the insoles out to me that day after all our failed attempts to collect them ourselves and surprise surprise they never arrived. I have since had to bring my daughter elsewhere and pay again to get her sorted. Very disappointing experience and an absolute waste of money.

Negative experience: I had high hopes for my appointment with Peter, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a waste of time and money. I called in advance to explain that I had been dealing with ongoing issues in my right foot, specifically related to an old injury and that I had recently increased my running distance. I was looking for a thorough examination and, if necessary, a referral for an MRI to address the root cause of the problem. I drove over an hour to see him, took time off work, and when I arrived, the session lasted just 20 minutes. During this brief interaction, he repeatedly called me by the wrong name, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. As for the examination, he had me walk up and down the hallway and stretch my foot. After that, he suggested I would need orthotics, at a cost of €300, and did not even attempt a proper gait analysis. When I asked if there were any other treatment options before resorting to orthotics, he told me, “If you were 18, maybe, but not at your age.” That was an incredibly dismissive comment, especially given that I had explained my fitness level and goals. I was charged €75 for this brief and unhelpful consultation, with no real examination or plan to address the underlying issue. I sought a second opinion and they arranged for an MRI. The MRI revealed that I have a stress fracture in my right foot and would need 6 weeks of recovery in a boot, followed by rehab. Peter’s approach felt more like a sales pitch for a service I didn’t require rather than a genuine attempt to diagnose or treat the issue. I strongly feel he took advantage of my situation and wasted my time, ultimately charging me for something that was completely unnecessary. I would not recommend this physiotherapist to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Mr Keane assisted me with an emergency appointment on the day of my inquiry, and accommodated my awkward working hours for all follow-ups. He is decisive and targeted in his treatment approach. He also provides advice regarding realistic and effective maintenance stretches/exercises to complete at home. I am pain-free with an objectively stronger knee than I arrived with. Thank you for an excellent and comprehensive service.

Fantastic experience: After struggling with a debilitating rotator cuff injury for nearly eight months, I had reached a point of total frustration. I tried various medications, exercises, and other physical therapy programs, but my pain remained unchanged and I could barely lift my arm. Everything changed when I met Mr. Peter. Thanks to his profound knowledge and experienced approach, Within just five sessions, my pain has completely vanished, and I have fully returned to my normal activities. Mr. Peter is truly one of the best physiotherapists I have ever encountered.He is an exceptional therapist with a remarkable talent for healing.

Fantastic experience: I had plantar fasciitis recently and attended Waterford Physio and Sports Injury clinic . I was seen, diagnosed and treated promptly. Peter is very professional and treated my injury successfully with therapy and exercises . I would highly recommend Peter for any injuries requiring physiotherapy.

Negative experience: I gave one star which was the only way to access the review box. Peter Keane did not turn up for my 10 am appointment in Dungarvan. I phoned but he didn't reply or return my call. Apparently this is a very common occurrence. I made many arrangements to get the free time to attend so am totally disgusted with him and certainly would advise people not to bother. In response to Peter's reply to this review I am sorry there was a misunderstanding. However, as we had discussed the location, which is in Kelly's Pharmacy, at the rear of the shop, I am surprised that he thought it was Waterford. I had no missed calls or text message.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Peter, for helping me get relief from knee pain that’s been bothering me for quite awhile. From the very first session, he took the time to carefully assess the issue and explained everything to me clearly. His treatment plan, exercises and guidance made a huge difference. Fantastic experience: Due to a fall i had a number of issues that needed attention, Peter identified the problems and gave me numerous exercises to do, as he showed me how to do the exercises he videoed them and sent them to me so I could do them properly at home, very professional and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: After suffering from stiffness and some pain after recent hip surgery I made an appointment with the Waterford Physiotherapy Clinic Ballinakill. Peter was very helpful and professional! He explained each exercise to me and sent me a video recording for use at home! I am now much more mobile and improving all the time! I highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: I went to see Peter because I was experiencing pain and discomfort in my pelvic area that was affecting me when I walked. Peter diagnosed my problem at the first session and he explained to me what was causing it. He gave me a set of exercises that I could access on my phone while doing them at home. After a week of doing the exercises the pain in the back of my leg had alleviated and I was able to continue with my walks. I would highly recommend Peter. A professional and friendly service.

Great improvement on an ankle ligament injury after 1 week of physio with Peter. 2nd visit, ankle restrapped and ankle continues to improve. It's great to have an exercise/physio plan to work with for long term use.

Fantastic experience: When I first went to Peter, I was in extreme pain with my neck which had been in total spasm for at least two weeks. My doctor prescribed lots of different drugs which had little to no effect. I stopped taking the tablets. After a few sessions with Peter, who initially took all of my medical details, the pain eased and now I am totally indebted to Peter's knowledge and professionalism for being pain free. I could not recommend Peter highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I went to Peter with pain in my neck that gave me great discomfort in the mornings in particular of unknown origin. Across 2 sessions with thorough massage of the painful area and dry-needling split over 2 weeks, I'm pain free. Peter's recorded video of me doing the stretches required to prevent pain like this in the future are clear and will ensure I don't misinterpret my stretch routine going forward. Fantastic experience: From the initial enquiry about making an appointment the experience has been completely hassle free. Peter returns calls promptly and was very welcoming at initial visit where he did a thorough assessment and then explained what my issues were and began treatment immediately. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Waterford Physiotherapy enough! After 6 months of chronic shoulder pain, three failed visits to other physiotherapists, Peter quickly, effectively and accurately diagnosed my issue. The diagnosis was quickly followed by dry needling which was extremely effective in releasing my shoulder and the months of pain that went with it. Peter followed this process up with some light massage before strapping up my shoulder with kinesiology tape which provided great support and comfort. Peter then taught me four exercises to rehabilitate the shoulder and videoed me performing the exercises which was subsequently emailed to me. I found this to be highly valuable when trying to recall the exercises days later. Peter's 25 years of experience is obvious, he is a true master and a rare talent. I returned for a second session a week later and I trust Peter to resolve an issue that has plagued me for years. While I am still in the early days of treatment and rehab, I cannot express how significant a change that just one visit to the clinic brought to my life.

Fantastic experience: As I sprang out of my relatively low slung car this afternoon, the first thing that came to mind was Peter Keane!!! I have just completed two sessions with Peter on my back. He was absolutely outstanding. His professionalism, his knowledge was second to none. Having worked on my back both manually and with some space age looking machinery, he then demonstrated exercise, got me to do them as he recorded and then emailed to me. His emphasis is on getting the client as mobile as possible as fast as possible and giving you the tools to stay mobile. He is not in the business of bringing you back time after time. This to me also demonstrates a real professional.

Suffered with lower back problems on and off for years but after my first visit, Peter treated the problem area and then advised on the best exercise programme to strengthen this area. Fantastic experience: Was on my 3rd wk of a bout of vertigo when I had my 1st treatment with Peter. He quickly established the cause & ruled out others & explained it all in great detail. The actual physical treatment was enjoyable & relaxing & each stage was explained prior so as to know what to expect & why. I was given exercises which were recorded so I'd remember at home this is a great idea..as I feel often these are forgotten when we go home.He gave me hope that I can be well in a few treatments time as well as knowledge of how to maintain my neck strain in the future to cope with vertigo or hopefully prevent it reoccurring.
