Negative experience: I went to the appointment with a shoulder that urgently needed adjustments, paid double the price that other chiropractors usually charge, only to be told that she wouldn't take me as a patient, much less adjust my shoulder or spine. I do not recommend her!

Fantastic experience: Virginia is simply amazing at what she does! I have seen several people re my back/neck issues which cause me sciatica and have never experienced the level of care or expertise that Virginia has shown. Thanks to her treatment (which had zero forceful manipulation), I have no sciatica symptoms and can now turn my head etc with zero pain. The clinic is welcoming, sterile and comfortable. Fantastic experience: I first became a patient of Virginia in the late 1990s whilst suffering from Sciatica on my left side. Virginia’s diligently made me better and I didn’t have any reoccurring problems for over 22 years. I then unfortunately got spinal stenosis again on my left side coupled with a return of sciatica. I left Cork and have been living in Meath for the past 20 years. I then attended Santry Sports clinic and got 3 MRIs on my lumbar back which confirmed that my condition was now chronic and that it would only be a matter of time before I would have to have decompression surgery on my lower back. Reluctant to go down this route I’ve since tried numerous physical therapists, Pysio therapists , 2 chiropractors and one Osteopath to see if they could cure me over the past recent 2 years. Unfortunately my condition and dreadful pain when walking remained as usual with no improvement. I was resigned to the knife until I somehow remembered Virginia Cantillon and her no nonsense approach. I called Virginia thinking she would not have remembered me but how wrong was I to think that thought! Subsequently I’ve been attending Virginia for treatment going down from Dublin by train every Tuesday and Friday for the past 3 weeks. It was slow at first but last Thursday I woke up with little pain for the first time in 2 years! Today I won a golf competition in the Island with 43 points! Haven’t broken 32 for 2 years! I had been having back pain on a regular basis for a long time and was not able to sleep at night. I had put my back pain down to just getting older and that back pain was just something to get on with. Fantastic experience: Initially I went to Cork Chiropractic Clinic after injuring my back and shoulder. Virginia did an assessment and made some adjustments to my back which really worked and helped resolve my ongoing muscle spasams and pain. I have been going to Virginia for regular check ups with the past four years to keep everything in check. Fantastic experience: I went to Virginia with pain in my lower back. Her analysis of the problem was extremely thorough. After a few weeks of treatment the difference was amazing. She also picked up on an issue with my neck that was causing me headaches and since I received treatment the headaches are gone. I had visited doctors, physios and even had a MRI. Nothing helped until I went to Virginia. I would highly recommend her to anyone suffering with back pain.

Fantastic experience: In Sep 2021 I couldn't ride my bike due to back pain. After 3 months of trying other practitioners I hadn't resolved the issue. Within the first couple of sessions with Virginia I knew I was on the right track. Her evaluation and treatments started to show immediate results and within weeks I was back cycling. At the end of 2022 I went on a cycling holiday to Chile where I rode for 5-7hrs per day for 10 consecutive days. I could never have made that trip if my back pain hadn't been sorted.

Fantastic experience: Two years ago I fractured 3 lumbar vertebrae and crushed surrounding discs. Pain, hospital, tests, more tests, time allowed for it to heal, physiotherapy, more physiotherapy and on and on. Improved marginally, 18 months later still in extreme pain, very depressing but faking good humour on a daily basis. Clutching handrails to pull myself upstairs, pain regardless of the position in which I stood, sat, slept, lay down, still using one crutch to walk around. Last August I made an appointment with Virginia and within weeks noticed a difference in the pain levels experienced. Got rid of the crutch, can now sleep without waking up in pain. Still use a walking stick, however it is more as a safety instrument for loose paving slabs and uneven footpaths. I can honestly state that I am very much better as a result of attending Virginia. My quality of life has dramatically improved in a matter of a few months and I am no longer in constant pain. If you are in pain, this lady is the person to go to as she will give you an honest appraisal of how and if she can be of assistance to you. I could barely walk, my body was very slanted to one side and I would have been considered a surgery case. We had multiple weekly appointments over the 5 month period and from my very first one, I started to feel an improvement. Fantastic experience: Last February I went on skiing holiday, stood up on skies, lasted 5 mins and there was my week over on the slopes due to lower back problem that got progressively worse over the last few years. My golf was getting worse and I was just putting it down to getting older as could always hit a ball 280 yards and that had come down significantly, never thought about the fact that I could barely touch my knees due to lower back pain. Went to Virginia last March to investigate what was going on and best decision I've ever made. She started working on my back, within 2 weeks I had full movement around lower back and went from not being able to touch knees to touching the ground with hand flat! Golf swing came back and right back to hitting ball to the 280 yard mark where I should be even at 40 years of age! 6 months on I'm back at the gym 3 nights a week which I hadn't been able to do for years and have dropped 2 stone through being able to train again for last couple of months. Virginia is a really nice lady who makes you feel right at ease from minute you walk in the door for consultation. I couldn't recommend highly enough and if you are sitting on the fence as to getting treatment which a lot of us do, don't waste any more time and give this lady a call for an appointment, best decision you will make.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Virginia Cantillon for a consultation after suffering with back pain for many years. I have had experiences with other chiropractors but still suffer with pain so when I read reviews and found out she also deals with muscular issues I decided to give her clinic a go, I am beyond thrilled to have found her. We had a consultation, she reviewed my body, my stance, my feet etc and told me she could treat me quite easily. Throughout the the consultation I was made feel completely at ease. The treatment itself took no longer than five minutes. She used the 'Activator Technique' on me. This is a hand held instrument which delivers light and fast thrusts on the affected areas. I felt absolutely no pain. I walked out of the clinic a new person. My back had completely loosened out,no clicking or cracking. Over the coming days I expected my back to seize up again - which it didn't. I went back for a check-up and the difference is amazing, I can't recommend Dr. Virginia enough, she is very personable and hugely knowledgeable. Unlike other chiropractors I have seen, Virginia is interested in correcting spinal joint dysfunction in a quick and efficient manner .
