Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure of having a couple of sessions with Alex, I honestly couldn't recommend him enough ! I've had a couple of problems for a few years now and he has been so great at finding what exactly is wrong! If anyone has any issues please consider him ! I'm already starting to feel brand new ☺️

Fantastic experience: AD physioCare has consistently resolved any problems I've had, even the ones that don't feel like they're from a muscle. I've gotten relief from dizzy spells caused by tension in my shoulder, throbbing headache caused by clenching my jaw to name a few. For me these are never prolonged visits with Alex. I've had a number of problems fixed in as low as one or two sessions. The approach is different to that of other physios I've been to before. It is one that doesn't go straight into massage therapy every time but it seems to always work for me. I'd high recommend Alex.

He creates such a comfortable, welcoming environment that you feel listened to and supported from the very beginning. What really sets him apart is his knowledge and approach to treatment. He doesn’t just focus on the area that’s causing pain—he takes the time to understand your body as a whole, looking at the bigger picture to identify the root cause of the problem. His goal isn’t simply to treat the current injury but to help prevent future ones as well. What impressed me most is that you never feel like you’re just another appointment. It’s clear that his priority is helping his clients recover, not keeping them coming back unnecessarily. He genuinely wants the best outcome for you and takes the time to explain everything along the way. I would recommend him to absolutely anybody. If you’re looking for someone who is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and truly invested in your recovery, you won’t find anyone better.

Fantastic experience: I have had a particular issue for many years and visited many physiotherapists but the issue persisted. Alex came highly recommended from two separate people. I felt I had nothing to lose so I made an appointment and am I glad I did. This last week is the first time in 5 years where I have had no pain in my hip. The attention to detail in the way he works is incredible and I highly recommend Alex. In particular if you feel you are a lost cause, this is the place to go. He will not rest until he has found and fixed the problem.

Fantastic experience: 100% recommended. Alessandro is highly knowledgeable, skillful, and attentive to the patient’s needs and feedback. During the first appointment, he has identified a number of issues that were causing me pain and discomfort in my neck and back. In the coming 4 sessions, he has addressed the issues, one by one, and he has recommended specific exercises to do at home. I felt the improvements after each session, and I am much better now. I’ll definitely go back in a few months for a check-up.

Fantastic experience: Finding a physio who is so effective is incredible. Alex takes his role very seriously and has invested so much in his knowledge building, and as a client I love getting the benefit of all that. A lot of people complain about physios that they keep you coming back for lots of unnecessary sessions that are very short and very expensive. Alex is the opposite, I know when I have something wrong he'll get straight to the solution and often one session is enough to solve a problem which is so out of the ordinary for that kind of service. I always feel like Alex holistically treats the whole person and sees how everything is interconnected. I've never in my life had the results from any physical therapy that I have in physio sessions with Alex. The safest pair of hands you could be in. (Patient since 2021).

Fantastic experience: Alex is absolutely amazing at what he does for his clients. I went to Alex after a complicated knee reconstruction. There was so much work to be done I couldn't believe the instant results. After every visit there is great progress. I find his method and ways very different, in a good way to any other physio I have been to in the past which is great. His ways are so gentle yet so affective you don't even realise how much he has done for you until he has finished. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Fantastic experience: I attended Alex’s clinic with an injury in November 2025. The injury was severe and prevented normal movements well as a high level of pain. The initial consultation identified immediately the problem and treatment was quick and effective. Alex gave a course of dry needles, massage therapy and mobility treatments over an initial three sessions. Follow up support was constant from Alex and I was provided with access to the clinic app which tracked the treatments and detailed rehabilitation routines to assist recovery. After a further two sessions, the treatments have corrected the injury and provided 100% relief. I strongly recommend AD Physio as a quality medical service provider for physiotherapy and sports injury treatment.

Any injury or ailment that I come to him with he is always able to ease my mind about it, while simultaneously treating my issue and providing me with an extensive treatment plan. Fantastic experience: Alex has been amazing I first came to him with a problem I had been having for years and none of the numerous physios over the years had been able to help me with it that whole time while Alex managed to fix it and get me back up and running without any pain. A couple months later I injured myself while training for a specific event, Alex went above and beyond in helping me to get past the injury and being ready for the event in time. Fantastic experience: My husband and I live in the United States and travel to Ireland each year to visit our son and his family. My son and his wife are patients of Alessandro and highly recommended him when I mentioned I had a stiff neck, sore shoulders, and a headache that refused to go away during my visit in 2020. After my first appointment I knew I would continue to see Alessandro each time I was in Ireland. Alessandro asks numerous questions to determine where my discomfort is and takes the time to explain exactly what he’s doing. He is very thorough and works hard to ensure he’s addressed all of my concerns. Dry needling, massage, stretching, and other therapies performed by Alessandro are always very professional. He also provides suggestions for stretches and exercises to work on at home. Each time I leave his office with a feeling of well being. Although I may have some soreness after the treatment, within a day or two the aches and pains are gone and I feel like my younger self. My husband began seeing Alessandro in 2023. Fantastic experience: I’ve only being attending physio with Alex for 3 sessions to date and can’t believe the difference he has made. He is so easy to talk too and absolutely explains everything about your back in such a clear and concise way. My pain has significantly reduced to the point of not using painkillers daily and feeling so much better. Positive experience: AD PhysioCare is like a spa day, but instead of cucumbers on your eyes, it's deep tissue massage and the occasional grunt of pain. The therapists are super friendly, though I swear they have a secret 'tough love' policy—fixing your body while reminding you that yes, you should’ve stretched more. You'll walk out feeling like a new person... after you've recovered from the session! Highly recommend if you want to feel better and be slightly scolded for your posture habits.

Fantastic experience: I have experienced multiple injuries over the past four years, including shoulder, neck, lower back, and two hip surgeries. Prior meeting Alex, going to the physio meant getting a quick talk and simple massage. Fantastic experience: After nearly 20 years of visiting physios ,Alex is by far the most professional and knowledgeable that I have experienced.From the outset his main aim is to treat your injury and help with your recovery.Alex has a wide range of skills and uses these to decide the best course of treatment. My main issue was lower back and ankle pain which was unsuccessfully treated by previous practitioners.Within a few minutes of assessing me, Alex knew exactly what my injuries were and how best to treat them.My recovery progressed on a weekly basis. Anyone who has ever experienced a long term injury similar to mine knows how frustrating it can be.I was convinced that I just had to accept my injuries and that they were not going to react to any treatment.Alex has treated my injuries and I can now do activities pain free which was not possible before visiting Alex. Alex immediately seemed far more invested than any physio I've seen in the past and with each session I noticed improvements. While not only helping this, Alex examined and worked on other parts of the body which contributed to this pain and alleviated this allowing me more mobility in training. Fantastic experience: Alessandro helped my son in November 2023. Then I began having issues with an old knee injury, then suffered with my hips and other issues. When I first started treatment I was very nervous as I’ve had the knee injury for 40 years. With Alessandros professionalism and experience I very soon learned to trust him. From here not only have all my pains massively improved I feel so much stronger and am willing to push myself in ways I wouldn’t have thought possible a few weeks ago. Alessandro is truly passionate, caring and a genius (in my opinion) at his trade. Im hugely grateful for all he has done for me.

Fantastic experience: I've had various issues with my back and with that visited different physio's and chiropractors and never felt I was getting anywhere until I started seeing Alex. I have more mobility than I've had in a long time and he's even seen things that I didn't know I had an issue with, which have aided in me becoming more mobile. He also likes to check in on you to see how you're getting on between sessions which really adds to it all. Highly recommend Alex!

Fantastic experience: Alex was first recommended to me over a year ago by a perfectionist good friend and extreme athlete. I had a persistent calf injury which defeated two other physios and kept re-occurring on going back to sport. Two sessions with Alex and it hasn't happened since. . . . and while he was at it he addressed a number of other issues, particularly neck and back. I went back to Alex again recently, all booking online now and one of the questions is 'what are your expectations'. I said 'miracles', and that's what Alex has delivered again. As soon as you are greeted and assessed by Alex, you are in no doubt that your well being and recovery is his priority. He uses techniques I have not seen before, and all delivered in a warm, considerate and generous way. I wouldn't go to anyone else now !

Fantastic experience: Went to Alex with a MCL injury. He is one of the most thorough Physio's I have been to nothing is rushed sessions are brilliant really very knowledgeable and professional at what he does. I have been out of any form of exercise for over 7 weeks when I got to Alex and he got me back exercising and I am now back running pain free. I couldnt walk up my stairs the first time I went to see Alex without a pain in my knee but after a few sessions this pain was gone. I am now back fully to my exercise programme pain free and injury free

Fantastic experience: I have attended Alex over the last number of years. Having suffered with muscle trouble following surgery a number of years ago, Alex has been the only physio to get to the root of the problem. He listened to me explain my issue and applied knowledge and physio methods that’s I have never seen used. He has done wonders for me and I for the first time am seeing the issue more or less sorted, after years of suffering. I still attend him even though I have moved from cork and would rate him as one if the best that I have dealt with.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been knowing Alex for a year or so and I need to say he’s excellent in what he’s doing. he’s professional and knows his job. I had a big problem on my shoulder and he fixed it within a few sessions. he makes sure that I was ok after a couple of weeks and if I needed to go back to him. I used to twist my ankle quite a lot and he sorted that problem too. good job!

Fantastic experience: I've had shoulder/back pain for over 10 years now (and at 27 this is not ideal!). I had tried physio in the past and found no real relief. I had gotten to a point where I was in pain just sitting at my desk at work. A friend recommended dry needling and I decided to find a physio in Cork that would be experienced in this as I am not a fan of needles! I have been going to Alex since March and I can honestly say I haven't felt this good in years! Alex uses a variety of different methods to target my problem areas (including dry needling, static needling and different stretches). He not only works on where I feel pain, but also other areas that I didn't even know were the real root cause of this pain. I also used to get very frequent headaches and migraines, Alex was able to diagnose the cause of this and did static needling in the problem area. I haven't had a headache in months! I genuinely couldn't recommend Alex enough!

Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Alex for years now and he is by far the best Physiotherapist I've worked with. He has a very methodical approach and takes the time to properly assess not just the area of pain, but the areas connected to it to allow for a very comprehensive treatment plan. Alex has a great knowledge of the muscular and skeletal structures and how to diagnose, treat and repair even the most acute pain. Alex also provides excellent and comprehensive treatment plans and gets to know the sports/activities you do, allowing him to better assess your regular movements and help with preventative exercises. I have, and will continue to recommend Alex to anyone who has any pain/injuries - as he is the best in the business!

Within a couple of weeks Alex had fixed the problem and it has had a massive change. There were also other issues, which he detected and has worked on those. Fantastic experience: I have attended Alex for the last few weeks and am so thankful to him for how he has helped me. I was struggling to get out of bed in the morning with stiffness but after a few sessions with Alex l am practically bouncing out of bed. I also had an issue with my ribs for the past two years and whilst having scans done nothing was showing up. I explained to Alex the discomfort l was having with my ribs and he went about using alternative methods to help ease the pain. I am happy to say the discomfort/pain is gone. Alex is very professional and takes a huge interest in his patients and their wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: I went to Alex for an ongoing elbow injury 2 years ago, he completed a thorough assessment of my elbow and spent a number of sessions sorting the issue, with massage, dry needling and stretching techniques, all of which resolved the pain and issue I was having. When I injured my ankle playing sports, I went straight back to Alex and he went through the same amazing techniques (including dry needling for my calf and KT strapping) and was so invested in the injury and my road to healing. He recommended an MRI after a number of sessions as he felt there was something else wrong, which identified an injury that was causing further pain. Alex really knows his stuff - he's super helpful and caring. I would highly reccomend him.
