Fantastic experience: I suffered from lower back spasms for past sixty years. My back would go into spasm several times a year, the pain would last from three weeks to several weeks. I had x rays and medical examinations several times over the years. Last summer I had a very severe spasm. I attended Glenbarrow Physiotherapy for three Physiotherapy sessions including input on root cause of the spasms. I also got an exercise routine to complete a few times a week at home. John helped me a lot when I broke my wrist and was very informative. Gave me great advice for at home workouts to help with the healing process. The second time I visited Glenbarrow physio was for a pain in my leg. My local GP had referred me for an mri and unfortunately I was wrongly diagnosed - but thanks to everyone in Glenbarrow Physio they noticed that my symptoms didn’t match the mri report. They then referred me for another mri which eventually gave me the proper diagnosis, along with them referring me to a specialist in Dublin, while giving me at home exercises which have helped tremendously. John and Kenny are both amazing physiotherapists, very patient and extremely knowledgeable. Really couldn’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely be going back if needed.

Fantastic experience: Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly treatment. I recently attended the clinic on a recommendation and managed to secure an appointment for the next day thanks to the live booking system. John assessed my MRI, diagnosed and treated my injury and ongoing pain. He then prescribed a series of exercises that have helped me with knee and hip pain using a convenient app displaying my specific exercises. Fantastic experience: I have great praise for Kenny. I went to him with my back, the pain going down my leg. He was a great help. Each session I could feel more and more improvement. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to John with on a couple of occasions throughout the years. He’s an excellent physiotherapist with a real passion for what he does. The way he is able to break down the cause of the injury in simpler terms is second to none. I’ve also had a couple of sessions with Kenny, he’s great too, and also it’s clear himself as well as John have the best interest in providing a smooth recovery process from any problem you present to them. Fantastic experience: Recently I had terrible pain in my neck and lower back and had an MRI. My doctor recommended that I go for physio before even thinking about a pain clinic. I heard of the Glenbarrow clinic and after speaking to a lovely guy called Brian I got an appointment. He was very understanding, caring and supportive and has helped me immensely by giving me exercises that are easy to follow and also uses massage and light therapy. I cannot recommend them enough, a truly professional clinic.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Glenbarrow Physiotherapy by the Sports Surgery Clinic following my total hip replacement. Oisin was, and continues to be, a great physio for me. He has a great manner about him, is thoughtful, understanding and very professional with his advice. My consultant was very impressed with my progress at 6 weeks and that was partly due to the great advice and exercise plan from Oisin. The equipment they have available is top class and the clinic is clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Went to a recommended Physio locally for 6 months with no improvement, attended Glenbarrow Physiotherapy Clinic and was a new man in just 3 weeks. John and his staff are very professional and I have recommended them to friends who have similar success to mine. Fantastic experience: I brough my daughter to glenbarrow physiotherapy as she had been complaining of pain in her hip which was inhibiting her ability to participate in sport and other physical activities. She got an appointment with Oisin and after just one session and a plan of daily excercises there was a very obvious improvement. Went back for a follow up where Oisin gave her another set of excercises to alternate. She hasn't looked back, no pain and back doing all activities. Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of John and his team at Glenbarrow Physiotherapy. I presented with a very painful plantar fascitis in my right foot and before treatment began John explained in great detail by way of diagram on a white board,the cause of the pain and discomfort and the subsequent treatment to alleviate same. I was pain free after seven sessions which were delivered in part by Oisin and Brian also. I highly recommend this wonderful facility.

Fantastic experience: I had a problem with my shoulder which was causing sleepless nights. I had tried other physios but could get no relief. A friend recommended Glenbarrow Physiotherapy to me. After a few sessions with John, he was able to locate an issue in my upper back which was triggering the shoulder problem. Through physio sessions and an exercise program John made for me, the issue has substantially subsided. Occasionally doing my program keeps all in good working order. I then had an accident where by my other shoulder received a severe knock. Between John and Oisin, they were able to work through the area to locate the damage and relieve the pain. Again an exercise program was designed to build back up the muscles in this area and I'm back exercising again as strong as ever. These guys have been nothing but friendly, professional and helpful since I first got in contact with them.

Fantastic experience: My 15 yr old son broke his foot . After 6 weeks in a boot the fracture had healed but ligaments and muscles had weakened making running painfull and impossible .John worked very hard and set up a recovery exercise programme which got him back playing sooner than would have been normal .Very professional and took a personal interest .I would highly recommend John and Glenbarrow Physiotherapy.

Fantastic experience: I'm a HCA. I badly damaged the tendons and ligaments in my arm in work. My GP gave me a list of recommended physiotherapists from which I got John's details. On my 1st visit with John, we discussed his recommended treatment approach and length of time needed for full repair (6-8wks). I got physio, electromagnetic therapy, infa-red light therapy and deep tissue massage on injured site at every visit. At the end of 6 weeks I was back to full use in work and load bearing, but continued, by choice to attend another week. Very good price and no hidden extras/ up selling services. Very professional. FULLY RECOMMEND

Fantastic experience: I brought my son to John on the recommendation of a lot of people .My son dislocated his knee and we were unsure of the correct route to take going forward. John assessed my son’s knee injury thoroughly . He explained everything to my son in a language he understood . We were referred to Santry Sports Clinic , where my son was operated on and received the best of care . We are returning to John and his team for post op physio and know we are in the best of hands to get my son back on the pitch . Fantastic experience: I went to John with dreadful pain in my neck and shoulder following a road traffic accident. I had been struggling to get through the day or get a decent sleep due to the pain. After only a few sessions I was 90% better and the advice and exercises along with occasional session for maintenance my quality of life has improved far beyond my expectations. I'd more or less expected to just have to live with it but now I'm almost back to normal. As a result of my outstanding experience, I sought advice for my mother who is in her 70s and was becoming really limited in her mobility due to arthritis in her knee. As a very nervous patient it took me a while to convince her to try physio. She has been attending regularly for the last few months and has been treated by all the practitioners over this time. My mam can now walk much better and tells me some days she has no pain. She is delighted she overcame her initial fear and followed the advice and kept to the appointment schedule . We are so grateful to the three physio therapists who have made such a difference to our health. The whole team are so careful, knowledgeable and exceptionally talented people. Fantastic experience: We've been going to John and his team at Glenbarrow Physiotherapy for a few years now. We worked with numerous other Physios over the years with varying success but, hands down, John is the easily the best. Unlike others, there's no BS with John. He's way more knowledgeable than any others we've used, but he doesn't guess what's wrong. If John can't pinpoint the exact problem from a physical exam he'll make sure to get the right scans etc first before he starts treatment. He makes sure he's treating the right problem from the start and he has the knowledge and equipment to do so. That's not the norm in that business!!

Fantastic experience: After a very complicated injury, 7 surgeries on my ankle and multiple visits to places to try get my ankle right with no joy or progress. We found John just shortly after he had opened up his practice, I never looked back, he was very good and very knowledgable about his work and after a few sessions i was regaining back strength and movement in my ankle and over time began to walk normally again. Fantastic experience: I've been attending John at his practice for sometime now. I have multiple issues with my hip shoulder and lower back... which can cause alot of pain and sleepless nights but after a few sessions and John's technique and expertise he always gets me right again. Fantastic experience: I went to the clinic as I was suffering with neck spasms. I made an appointment and found John to be really informative on what the problem was. I got clear instructions on what exercises I needed to do to strengthen that area. After the first session the pain had dramatically reduced. I had a second session with some dry needling and that did the trick, though I had to be convinced as I am not a fan of needles! I was pleasantly surprised as I barely felt them. I really appreciated the time spent explaining what would be done to help fix the problem and how best I could help myself by doing the exercise to prevent it re occurring. Everyone was helpful and friendly whilst providing a professional service.

Fantastic experience: Over a year ago, I wrote the following: "I had a sore right foot for 8 months. X-rayed –no fractures. A friend recommended John Dunne who had treated her husband’s knee problem. I didn’t take her advice. Despite Covid restrctions, I ventured out for an MRI. The MRI showed pooling of fluid around posterior tendon. G.P. referred me to John Dunne. Some swelling receded during the very first treatment from John, and the pain lessened. Soon after, I had no pain at night. Then, my left foot developed some pain in posterior tendon possibly from carrying most weight on that foot. By five weeks all swelling and pain had gone from both feet. I started walking short journeys and I am now walking in stride. Once my feet were back to walking, I attended John for elbow, upper arm and shoulder stiffness, soreness and pain in right arm. I had that problem for more than a year. X-rays of shoulder and elbow did not reveal any fractures. Then tennis elbow set-in. John treated my shoulder and elbow. My elbow is completely better. My shoulder is not hurting and I can lie on it. My upper arm is greatly improved. I can raise it up again but need to give it a little more time. I am doing a course of exercises recommended by John. To-day, I hung laundry on the line. I expect to be swinging my arm very soon. Many thanks, John." To-day, 17/10/2022, I would like to add that I have been free of pain in my arm and shoulder ever since a year ago. Furthermore, my ankle and foot have covered many miles without the slighest problem. I thank God for John Dunne.

Fantastic experience: John has helped me and my elderly parents immensely over the last year. I wouldn't go to anyone else. He has all the high tech treatments including shockwave, electrical and light therepy as well as good old massage. He is cheaper than other physios and worth the extra travel for us. Fantastic experience: I have known John through GAA and also personally, He has been apart of our GAA club for many years and the care and professionalism he brings to our club and players is second to none. Detailed programme for each individual no matter what the injury with success rate in recovery 100%. On a personal level my daughter suffered a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury after a bike accident she suffered major balance loss and lost a lot of stability, what John did for her was incredible again the detail and expertise he put into my daughter was exceptional, I can proudly say that Jessica has made almost 100% recovery and was purely down to the work and time John put into her.

Fantastic experience: Went to john with a bad pain in my right hip in January just before calving season. After initial assessment he reckoned my hip wasn’t in need of replacement but the pain was from tendinitis.I attended john every second week for a session with the jackhammer followed by exercises in between and while it took more sessions than john expected I calved over 200cows during treatment and while I’m not intending running a marathon I’m pain free thanks to John’s very professional care . Fantastic experience: I visited John with a neck/back injury. John is very knowledgeable and professional. After two sessions I was 100% and pain free. With this being a reoccurring injury I have never got results this quick before or given such detail about my injury that was easily understood.
