Bepainfree John Smith

Fantastic experience: I went to Bepainfree which was recommended to me by a friend who had great praise for her treatment there. My sciatica pain at the time was quite severe but after two sessions with John and his recommended exercise regime i couldn't believe how much the pain was easing without having to take pain medication. I had a few more sessions and am now completely pain free. There was never any delay for my appointment time and the treatment sessions were not painful or unpleasant and were carried out in a very professional and friendly manner. I would highly recommend Bepainfree.

Fantastic experience: Stephen and John are very good. They helped me with neck pain and headaches with just a few sessions. Each session includes spine manipulations, soft tissue manipulations, vacuum glass cupping (optional). I cannot recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I first went in for treatment in early August due to an ongoing sciatica issue which stopped me from running. I had been to a few physios and to the Sports clinic in Santry but got no success. I went in with an open mind and he got to work on me straight away and I could feel the difference immediately as he corrected issues with my posture and lower back. I gradually went back running during my time with be pain free, very slowly with the pain receding and ultimately going away in my left leg. I had been given me exercises to complete as part of the ongoing assessment which I done and will continue to do. I couldn't recommend be pain free enough. Very happy patient

Fantastic experience: I came to John with a really tight lower back after I (foolishly!) ran a half marathon with no training. From my first session, John quickly identified that my pelvis was out of alignment and worked on realigning it, as well as loosening other muscle groups to ease the pain. He also did cupping therapy on my back, which really helped to promote healing and improve circulation. I’ve been seeing John weekly for the past month and the difference is incredible — my sleep has improved because I’m no longer waking up in pain when I move, my posture feels so much better, and best of all, I no longer get those sharp, stabbing pains out of nowhere during the day. I couldn’t recommend John enough — professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you feel your best.

Fantastic experience: Went to John with a sharp pain in my glute area when I ran which I had for many months, and had gotten much worse. John explained I had an issue with my SI joint. After four sessions I started to run slowly to see if the issue was resolved. I had some minor tweaks but in a different area to the original problem. After 3 weeks I was back running 6km runs without any pain. Seems the original problem is now gone. Delighted … thanks John!!!

Fantastic experience: I first went to John & Stephen a number of years with many different complaints but primarily my lower back. I was struggling to run and played GAA at a relatively high level so in order to continue to play I needed to be pain free. After the first session with John I got immediate relief and over a number of sessions and weeks he had me running pain free. Not only about relieving the pain and getting mechanics right it was about trying to fix the issue going forward. Extremely helpful and always trying to do the best for me. Would recommend John & Stephen to anyone and have already referred a number of friends. Seamless transition between John & Stephen also as I've been treated by both. Fantastic experience: One day before Christmas, I was parked outside this clinic and found the name interesting, as I’ve had a pain in my right hip going on for the last while, so I said to myself I must look up online, after reading some information and reviews, decided to call and see if someone here could help me, and got an appointment soon after with John, whom I found really helpful in getting movement into my hip and gave me some exercises to do at home and useful tips when sleeping on my right side. After just two sessions I feel a lot better and would highly recommend him as professional, courteous and very helpful.

Fantastic experience: When I started seeing John at Bepainfree I was suffering from chronic migraines with neck/shoulder pain. I was attending various specialists and taking strong pain medications that weren't working, I was having no pain free days, in fact the pain had gotten so debilitating that I had to spend most of my time in bed which gave little relief. From my first session with John the difference has been absolutely amazing, my headaches have eased off considerably and I can move my neck without the muscles going into spasms. I would 100% recommend John & Stephen and am just sorry I didn't find them sooner.

Fantastic experience: I was extremely lucky to come across the Bepainfree clinic while on vacation from the US. I was in excruciating back pain, on Christmas day, unable to move and no idea how I could board a transatlantic flight three days later. I knew that a doctor or hospital could not help and would take weeks to react, so I texted Bepainfree. Although outside working hours they immediately came to the rescue. Realizing the seriousness of the situation Stephen managed to fit two sessions in consecutive days. I was apprehensive at picking a clinic from the internet but reassured by the many positive reviews. They demonstrated to be very professional, knowledgeable, caring and proactive. I was moving again by the second session and able to board that flight relatively pain free. They also offered good advise on how to progress my care in the US. I would definitely recommend them highly to anyone, friend or family.

Fantastic experience: Twisted my back a few weeks ago and was barely able to stand up straight and was in tremendous pain. I only selected Bepainfree because it was close to where I work but I would highly recommend. Both John and Stephen took time to go through my history with me of any back pain or problems, diagnosed and explained to me what and where the problem was and how we were going to rectify it. Over the course of a couple of sessions, we managed to rectify the issue and solve the problem. I can't recommend BePainFree highly enough for any issues with backpain.

Fantastic experience: Had decompression surgery October 2022 but unfortunately the Sciatica returned in March of 2023. I called to see Stephen and John and I was diagnosed with a twisted pelvis and not Sciatica, so they immediately got to work on me. Fantastic experience: My chronic side/back pain has reduced to an occasional mild discomfort after being treated by John. I had some initial pain relief immediately after my first treatment and this only improved after subsequent visits. John recommended some exercises to do at home which have been a huge help also. Over the years I've been prescribed medication and had hospital procedures to address my pain but nothing worked up until now. For that reason I highly recommend John to anyone with a similar complaint.

Fantastic experience: I went to see John after my back pain worsened to the point I couldn’t stand or walk anywhere for any period of time. I was in agony and at 40, couldn’t do things with the kids, was in a lot of pain and really didn’t know what to do. I tried physio, yoga, rest, exercise and finally decided I’d see if an Osteo could help. I’d written it off as ‘it’s sciatica, I’ll just need to live with it’ but It turned out it was because of a twisted pelvis and lower spine, compressing on nerves and muscles. I was in tears once he was able to tell me he could see a clear cause. Over a number of appointments I gradually got better and better to the point where I now have my life back. I’m no longer in pain, my posture is better and I have a whole new set of stretches and much better understanding of how to look after my lower back. I owe a big thanks to John (and Stephen) for getting me back to my new and improved self! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been suffering from sciatica radiating to the left leg for a long time. I have been given four spine injections over 4 years and nothing has helped. Recently the pain was so intense that I decided to visit the "Be Pain Clinic" and it was the best decision. After 5 sessions with John, the pain decreased and I felt a lot of improvement in walking which I had a big problem with. John is very professional, on the first visit he explained everything and gave me a clear opinion of what I can expect in my situation and how he can help me. Now, after 8 sessions I feel much better, the pain is not that intense, I sleep better and I can walk longer distances.

Fantastic experience: I went to Stephen a few years ago when I was playing rugby and he fixed all my knocks and sprains so that I could keep playing. I have gone back recently because my back had got so sore it hurt to turn over in bed. John and Stephen fixed that up too. Well worth a few visits if you have pain. It's money well spent.

Fantastic experience: I get pain in my shoulder, back and neck which would reach my jaw at times causing tension migraines. I get flare ups due to psoratic arthritis. I was bad just before christmas (tired having been up in pain for three nights) my hubby helped me find someone who could help and made an appointment with Stephen. Stephen was courteous, respectful and professional at all times. I started to feel better after the first session and managed to get some quality sleep after the first visit. It was amazing to be able to visit a practitioner who was able to help with the pain and discomfort and seemed to know exactly what to do. Sessions with physiotherapists always resulted in exercises and treatment of the symptoms but not necessarily the cause. I would recommend a visit to Stephen and his colleagues as a way to understand your own pain and to find a way to resolve.

Fantastic experience: Working as a healthcare worker over the last year my anxiety, like many others had increased and found myself having more migraines that usual. Since attending Stephen I haven't had a migraine, and I am more aware of the links between them and possible food triggers and find myself consciously correcting my posture. I didn't realise how much Osteopathy could help with anxiety. But thanks to Stephen I feel back to myself again. He's given me tips and knowledge when it comes to foods that can heighten anxiety. Fantastic experience: I booked in with Stephen McDermot (Be Pain Free) after my Dexa Scan showed that I have Osteoporosis in my spine. Stephen has over the course of a few months managed to help straighten the curve in my lower back and give me more flexibility than I’ve had for years. Fantastic experience: I have been in a lot of pain for a long time, talks of a hip operation. One session with Stephen and I felt so much relief, the pain has been eased , actually sleeping much better, and i was able to go for a long walk by with my kids.
