Fantastic experience: I had a bulging disc between my C6 and C7. I wanted to avoid surgery. I had 10 sessions of non surgical decompression, laser treatment and massage. I was given daily exercises to do. The pain and numbness is subsiding and nearly gone. I am able to have a normal life now. I'm very impressed and highly recommend DC Physio.

Fantastic experience: I met DC Physiotherapy and explained that I am deaf. I brought an interpreter with me, and the staff were very supportive. I had suffered with lower back pain for 4 years since April 2022, caused by a disc problem. I did not want surgery, and I also decided against injections in my lower back. I met Aonghus, a staff member at DC Physiotherapy. He helped me with physiotherapy and clearly explained non-surgical decompression used for the disc and nerve. I had never tried this before. I lay on a specialist treatment bed and was very pleased with how quickly I was able to start treatment. I started feeling results within a few days, which was amazing. After about 4 months, my back improved a lot with no serious pain. I can now walk, go out, drive, and enjoy running and jogging again. I am still improving and hope to return to full running soon. I am very happy with the results and truly amazed. I give DC Physiotherapy 5 stars. I would especially like to thank Aonghus for his professionalism, patience, and support. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable during treatment.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been struggling with lower back pain for couple of years, MRI showed L5 S1 protrusion. I decided to try back decompression therapy in DC Physiotherapy Clondalkin. My physiotherapist Gary explained everything to me at our first session, showed me exercises that will together with decompression help me with my back pain. I think after 3rd or 4th session I started to feel the difference and after finishing my 10 sessions pain is gone in 95%. I can highly recommend Gary and DC Physiotherapy

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with Peter in DC Physio. I presented with low back pain and sciatica that was painful and debilitating. I also had issues with a recent injury to my right knee.I completed the recommended course of treatment and my sciatica was eradicated and my knee improved substantially. Peter was professional kind and attentive during all my treatment. It was a mix of spinal decompression, massage, and laser treatment. Peter is one of the best masseuse’s ever, always hitting the sore spots and releasing tight painful muscles. He also prescribed a range of gentle exercises to be carried out at home between sessions. I cannot praise him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: After suffering for many years with a herniated disc at L5/S1 and not been able to put pressure on my left leg I decided to give non-surgical spinal decompression a go to see if it would help . Fantastic experience: Having had lower back problems since the late eighties (L4 L5 S1) and have had five mri scans each showing a worsening condition i decided to give DC physiotherapy a try. I had exhausted every possible avenue trying to avoid the surgery option. When I arrived for my first consultation with Gary I was literally doubled over in pain.Gary was meticulous with his approach and explained everything to me in great detail. Honestly after my first consultation I could feel the pain had eased. I had three more consultations with aonghus and again the level of professionalism was first class. So in summary if like me you are currently suffering with debilitating back pain or just need a maintenance programme give this clinic a go. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been struggling with back pain for about two years, but two months ago things became unbearable. I suddenly developed severe back and neck pain, to the point where I couldn’t walk for a couple of days. I also had intense pain radiating through my shoulder and arm. It was honestly a nightmare. A friend of my husband recommended DC Physiotherapy Clinic, and I’m so grateful he did. After my assessment, I learned that I had a herniated disc, and the team recommended a course of 10 nonsurgical spinal decompression sessions. Fantastic experience: I was training for the Dublin City Marathon in 2024 but constant lower back and glute pain stopped me from making the start line. When the same issue came back this year, I decided to try DC Physiotherapy’s spinal decompression treatment after seeing it on social media. I went to him after months of severe lower back pain my MRI showed a bulge disc issue, and I had tried almost everything before. Fantastic experience: They are really good, I would highly recommend going to them and booking with Aonghus Loughnane. I had 10 sessions with them which was recommended and I would definitely recommend the 10 sessions. I went to them as I had 4 bulging discs in the back and my right leg was always in pain with the sciatica when I walked until I went to them. My sciatica is pretty much gone and I can walk with out any pain in my right leg. I am very happy with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: I completed a 10 week course of spinal decompression, massage and laser therapy with Aonghus to address pain caused by bulging discs in my lower back and a sensation of numbness in the backs of my thighs. It was very successful in addressing both. I saw major progress in the first 2-3 weeks and more minor progress in the remaining 7 weeks but it's important to see it through. Aonghus was great to deal with, kind, chatty but most importantly was able to target the treatment to treat my symptoms. Any questions I had were answered satisfactorily and I really got the sense that he knew what he was talking about. Negative experience: I underwent 10 sessions of decompression therapy for a slipped disc at L1–S5, which was causing mild sciatica pain. I fully committed to the treatment plan and diligently followed all the recommended exercises to give it the best possible chance. Unfortunately, I experienced no pain relief by the end of the sessions, and my MRI results showed no improvement or movement in the disc bulge compared to the MRI taken before the treatment. As a result, my surgery was delayed by several months, during which time my consultant advised that I may have caused slightly more nerve damage. It’s disappointing to have invested both time and money without seeing any benefit. That said, the facilities are good and the physiotherapists are all very friendly, professional, and supportive.

Fantastic experience: Completed a course of spinal decompression therapy with Aonghus and it has completely transformed my quality of life. After pregnancy 2 years I developed sciatica and my treatment here began in August when I could barely walk due to a disc protrusion in my L5/ S1 nerve root. The sessions were relaxing, very comfortable and really gave great relief to my back and problematic leg. Aonghus is a wealth of knowledge and made me understand what was causing the problem and exercises I could do at home to help. This combined with the spinal decompression bed has given me back my ability to walk correctly, sleep better and I would recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: Was considering attending until i called to ask for info about spinal decompression therapy, person i spoke to who I understand was actually the owner wasn't interested in providing any help, told me to look at website, didn't ask anything about issues i had or if i wanted to book in. Very poor and rude customer service. If you don't want to speak with people on phone, hire people with good communication and proper phone skills to do so.

Fantastic experience: Hi, Just to say a big thanks to DC physio and especially Aonghus who looked after me very well. I had 2 bulging discs in my back and was in considerable pain and had limited movement when I first called to DC in May this year. After having a chat with Aonghus I decided to have the 10 week course of decompression treatment Thankfully this treatment worked very well for me and I could feel the benefits from week 3 to 4 onwards to where I am today where my back problem is more or less resolved. Aonghus was very professional and always on the ball asking how I felt during and after each session and how I felt at work etc. I would highly recommend DC PHYSIO to anyone who was looking for treatment. Fantastic experience: I was told in July i would need surgery on an L4/L5 disc protrusion. I decided to try an alternative method. I just finished my 11th session with Aonghus today. He was very professional and showed empathy towards ny injury. I always left a session being psychologically better than before. For me, this is not a quick fix as I gad nerve damage that takes time. What I will say is, that coupled with a solid determination to alway do the rehab, spinal decompression can have a huge difference on your recovery and I would recommend the lads to anyone. It's definitely worth a try. I also want give an honorable mention to Paddy who I had dealings with over the couple of months.

Negative experience: Had a good consultation with Aonghus, lovely guy who explained everything, very professional, genuinely nice caring person. Called a few days later and got Dave who I assume is the owner to advise I was still in alot of pain, during the call I could hear he was typing and very uninterested. Very condescending and insensitive as I’m sure he is very aware clients that call are in pain when they call. Offered no support whatsoever so I cancelled my appt that was due due Friday with aonghus. Apologies aonghus but although u are a lovely guy ur front of house is not. Fantastic experience: I was in bad shape and looking like surgery was the only option after 2 different injections didn’t work. My wife sent me a link to DC therapy and I said sure I’ll have a look. I made an appointment and it was the best phone call I’ve ever made. I met with Gary who made everything from day 1 simple. I’m now back playing regular golf and doing all the things I wasn’t able to do only a couple of months ago so I would definitely recommend these guys if you have a back injuries. Fantastic experience: Completed the 10 sessions of spinal decompression. Had a herinated disc, a pretty large herniation, L5/S1 disc. Was bed bound for the first 5 days. Thought id give the spine decompression a go as i didnt want to have surgery. Started the spine decompression the week after. Got Gary as physio and he had talked me through the whole process of how it works. Pain was a 10/10 when i first started was barely able to walk. After 4 session pain was probably a 5/10. Every week i noticed a difference. After about 6-7 sessions i had walked 10km that saturday and had no pain after it. Finished the 10 sessions and feel like im 95% of the way there, just slight pain trying to touch my toes in my hamstring but pain is slowly going away every day with stretches Gary had given me. 10 sessions sound long at the start but they had flew in, 2 sessions a week almost. Gary was great help and helped me staying positive when i thought i would never get better at the start. Would recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have tried absolutely everything, you name it, I have tried it from acupuncture to general physio to chiropractors and Aonghus has been the only person to sort my neck pain out. He has explained and educated me throughout the process on my condition and expectation throughout. I have done 10 spinal decompression sessions so far and have found it to be the best form of relief from my pain. Aonghus has given my progressive exercises to keep my pain away and strengthen up my neck which I need with being a chef. I'd highly recommended Aonghus especially with how hand on and informational he has been.

Fantastic experience: I completed 12 sessions of spinal decompression with Aonghus in the past 7 weeks. To say I couldn't walk into the first session is an understatement. I had loss of power in my right leg which caused a limp that was making my pain worse. Today having session 12 I now no longer need "compulsory surgery" every session I did with Aonghus he checked in and gave me more movements and more tips to each exercise to complete the overall rehab which I really can't explain how much my life has just improved on a day to day basis. I am back training, walking, moving, sleeping better my leg is fine I got all power back I can plan things again to do as opposed to just planning to go home and lie down everyday for the pain. After 15 sessions of decompression therapy my pain has been eliminated completely. I must call out Robbie for his exceptional care and professionalism throughout my treatment. Fantastic experience: Well I came into Aonghus Loughname, 10 weeks ago in bits. Agony to move around, lie down ,sitting , standing. Just awful. Doctors said surgery was me only option . Now I'm up and about again with about 95% less pain and .my head space is much better now with much less pain involved. The wife likes me again now. After about 3 sessions I felt like a new man. I did had some occasional flareup's next day of treatments which i warned already by physio. Overall my pain was reduced and doing my exercise regularity helps. Fantastic experience: I completed 8 sessions with DC physiotherapy , I had spinal decompression on my neck. My symptoms were pins and needles and numbness in my hands in the mornings. This is down to degenerative disc disease.I was working with Aonghus who was brilliant throughout. He was very thorough out the course of treatments. I have to say I got great relief from the treatment. Aonghus gave me exercises to do while I’m at home and these I found very beneficial. Would recommend for anyone with this type of trouble. Fantastic experience: I suffered from a very minor bulging disc for around six years when I booked 10 sessions here in November/December. Though I didn't suffer the intense pain some with disc problems do, it impacted my daily life in a big way. Sitting, strenuous exercise and bending over were my main triggers. While my problems aren't full over I would definitely recommend this treatment to anyone suffering with disc problems. After 10 sessions, I have seen big improvements and while I am not completely "fixed" yet, daily life has become a lot easier and the reduction in discomfort as well as the exercises given to me by the physio have given me confidence in my body again. The treatment had little to no problems and felt very good. It wasn't exactly all smooth sailing, I suffered a flair up half way through and there was pain at times (usually the day after treatments) but in the end I took massive strides towards being completely free from my back pain. I couldn't speak more highly of the physio I worked with Aonghus. He was very knowledgeable and answer the hundreds of questions I must have asked him over the 10 weeks. The exercises he gave me to do outside of the sessions have helped me regain confidence in my body and overall, he was just a really nice fella to chat to while you are stuck in a chair for an hour a week. I am definitely not out of the woods yet, with certain actions (sitting, lifting heavy things) still causing some discomfort but with every week of continuing the exercises I feel the improvement in my back. I would definitely recommend this treatment and this clinic to anyone suffering with back problems.

Fantastic experience: With a recent MRI showing a bulging spinal disc which caused paralysing pain, I found myself under the care of Aonghus Loughnane at DC Physio clinic for a recommended ten sessions of decompression therapy. Fantastic experience: I have nothing but positives to say about DC Physiotherapy. Aonghus has been my physio and from the minute I arrived I was dealt with so professionally. Aonghus listened to my worries and concerns attentively. I had been involved in an accident and had a number of protruding discs in my neck. Aonghus explained how the decompression therapy works and how it may help improve my situation. I was unable to look sideways, or look up or down with ease and I was in terrible pain from whiplash. I did ten sessions and the result has been amazing! I am delighted with the outcome. Flexibility has been restored and after just a few sessions the pain was considerably reduced. I would highly recommend the decompression treatment at DC Physiotherapy. Aonghus was so kind and empathetic throughout the process. Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with DC Physiotherapy, Aonghus, the therapist talked me through the process on day one and encouraged me to stick with and trust that it worked. He was right, a few ups and downs then finally great success. Negative experience: I paid for 10 sessions of spinal decompression in September 2024. I have a protruded disc (L5- S1). My pain got worse session after session but I was dismissed, being told that it would get worse before getting better. It got to the point where I couldn't walk. I cancelled 2 sessions because of sickness and all my remaining appointments were cancelled to accommodate new patients.I called David to understand what was going on and was met with very little empathy. It seems that money is the main goal for him. I asked for a refund of my following appointments which thankfully was given to me. Do you research before you book, talk to your GP or ask other physios for their advice on spinal decompression. They guarantee 100% success. It's not true.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at DC Physiotherapy with bulged disk and in really bad shape. During first appointment Gary explained complete process and what I can expect. At first I was a bit suspicious but after 3rd treatment my symptoms significantly improved. With 10 therapies I feel like a new person.

Fantastic experience: I've just finished 10 sessions with Paddy and omg id fully recommend DC physiotherapy but definitely Paddy,I was out of work, I couldn't go the gym, I couldn't do anything cause of the pain I was in, I was on loads of different mediation and I really felt like I'd never get back to myself, Paddy went through my mri's with me explained the treatment and gave me a little bot of hope that I needed,, every new exercise he gave me I done and after 4 sessions I noticed a difference,, I ended up doing 10 sessions finished last week and I'm not off all mediation I'm back in the gym the last 4 weeks and I'm pain free, the best person for the job is 100% Paddy, not only was he a brilliant physiotherapist he was also a great listener.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Robert at DC Physiotherapy highly enough. I attended to help manage the daily pain I have from spinal stenosis. Robert listened to my symptoms and challenges. Over 6 sessions he treated them with manual therapy and deep heat treatments. These together with specific physio exercises have reduced the pain significantly and also helped increase my mobility.

Fantastic experience: After 3 years of having serious lower back pain thanks to disc issues, DC physiotherapy finally fixed my problems. After first meeting with Aonghus, i decided to commit to the 10 sessions twice weekly for 5 weeks of spinal decompression therapy. I felt relief straightaway and 5 weeks later, I feel like I've a new back! It's important to highlight it wasn't plain sailing, I had a few hiccups in my journey with some pain at different stages, but my advice would be to work through it and listen to your physio, Aonghus was great to work with the last 5 weeks, he provided expert guidance and great rehab exercises to work through to help me maximise the treatments, on top of that he's a great guy and I really enjoyed just chatting to him during our sessions. For anyone with spinal issues, you'd be mad not to try this treatment, important to highlight though its not a silver bullet to fix things, you need to do the work as advised by your physio away from the treatment room

Fantastic experience: . L4 & L5 compressed and pressing on the Sciatic nerve. Could barely walk. Beacon hospital offered only surgery to fix. DC physio was recommended by a relative as an alternative. So glad I went. Done the 10 spinal decompression treatment sessions with Paddy Clarke. Fantastic experience: I fully recommend DC Physio, I had a severe lower back problem that persisted for months. I worked with Aonghus, he showed great patience and empathy, and was very committed to get me back to 100%. I learnt a lot about treating my injury from Aonghus and am confident I can stay fit and healthy as a result. The facilities are excellent and the physios are exceptional.

Fantastic experience: In the space of 6 weeks only , I went from barely able to walk into the clinic to a full recovery from bad sciatica , so much so that I was able to resume my weekly 3 hour cycling hill climbs ! I had attended regular physio from a local clinic previously but I knew it wasn't getting to the root of my back problem and the pinched nerve. By chance , I came across DC Physio on the web and decided to give it a go. I went for the full 10 sessions after I had a very positive outcome from my first session. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing aonghus for the last 10 weeks. I felt a big difference after the 3rd session . At the 5th session I had a bit of pain but aonghus sorted it and I have been great ever since. I haven't needed to take any pain killers since I started my treatment. I would highly recommend it. Fantastic experience: Done the 10 spinal decompression treatment sessions with Paddy Clarke and feel a lot better after having 3 slipped discs. Paddy was able to go through my MRI and tell me exactly what was wrong, and offered his extensive knowledge of the right stretches and exercises that I need to be doing for the best possible recovery. Would definitely recommend Paddy and this particular type of spinal treatment for injuries the same or similar.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend dc physiotherapy and there spinal decompression . I could barely walk in the door with two herniated discs in horrendous pain and didn't have much hope for the treatment but gave it a go as a last resort before surgery . The treatment and expertise from aonghus really put my fears at ease and it wasn't long before he had me back to my old self and back in the gym .

Fantastic experience: Contacting DC Physiotherapy is one of the best decisions I ever made! The Spinal Decompression Therapy they provide has been amazing for the treatment of my Mam's degenerative disc disease. The treatments suggested by her doctor were over the counter pain killers, steroid injections or surgery. As steroid injections and surgery were not acceptable options and pain killers were only masking the actual problem, a Google search for alternative options lead me to DC Physiotherapy. David advised that the therapy would very likely be a successful treatment for my Mam's condition. We agreed an appointment date, trying one session first to see if it made any difference with the option to avail of 10 sessions for the special discounted offer price if it did. My Mam was treated by Robbie Cuffe, an amazingly understanding, patient, thorough, professional and friendly physiotherapist. He is excellent at his job, with a gentle, caring nature and a brilliant sense of humour. As a bit of a sceptic, I was amazed at the result after just one session. My Mam even more so. She hobbled into the treatment room aided by a walking stick and my arm. She walked out without the necessity of either and described the treatment as very relaxing, so much so that one could easily fall asleep during it. My Mam had pain when sitting, walking, standing and lying down before this treatment and after just one session the pain had eased. She proceeded with 10 sessions and is a different person now, practically pain free. She can go for walks, sit and watch tv, stand in a queue for a short period and most importantly, sleep! I have recommended DC Physiotherapy to 5 different people since, all with back issues of varying degrees of seriousness and one on the verge of fusion surgery which only has a 50/50 success rate! This non invasive treatment has a much higher success rate for degenerative disc disease, bulging discs, herniated discs, sciatic pain etc. It's crazy that it is not recommended more by GPs and consultants. If you suffer with any of these conditions contact DC Physiotherapy about Spinal Decompression, it has changed my Mam's life! I can't recommend Robbie, DC Physiotherapy and the Spinal Decompression Therapy treatment highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Started to attend the clinic a few months ago to commence treatment for herniated discs, (disc decompression), after injuring my back. At this stage, I was unable to walk more than 50m without having to stop for a break from the pain, which was shooting down the front of my leg. I had visited the doctor on numerous occasions, received an injection for the pain, was taking pain alleviating medication generally issued to patients suffering from cancer and was sleeping approximately 4 hours per night (this was when the pain medication started to wear off). Also had an MRI carried out at Affidea followed by a consultation at the Hermitage clinic, where the consultant recommended back surgery for the following week. Was Determined to find a non-invasive treatment to help my back. Highly recommend the practice - both the physiotherapist and treatment are second to none. They worked at my pace, while gently moving forwards. The pain has all but gone, now sleeping soundly again and have recommenced training. If you have back pain - issues with discs - cannot recommend the guys and the treatment enough. Robbie, Josh, Dave - keep up the good work

Fantastic experience: 6 weeks ago I made an appointment not expecting anything from it, I had been to the doctor twice and sat in A & E for 6 hours in so much pain it was unbearable, I couldn't walk properly or for very long the pain was that bad, I had never experienced anything like it. I went for an MRI which showed up severe sciatica and 2 bulging disks in my lower back, I had my first appointment with Paddy and decided to do the spinal decompression sessions. I met Paddy for the 1st time 6 weeks ago when I went in crying in excruciating pain and to say he is the nicest, caring and patient man is an understatement. Over the past 5 weeks I have had 2 sessions per week and I am so glad I had Paddy looking after me, not only is he an amazing Physiotherapist he is also so easy to talk to and all of my appointments were filled with great conversation and laughter. The spinal decompression sessions have fully healed my back pain (which I have suffered with for many years) my sciatica has gone and hopefully will never return again if I look after it and keep up with the physio at home routines that Paddy has thought me. Paddy, thank you so much for your help and although you are saying it was the spinal decompressions that healed me you had a big part in it too making me feel so relaxed and comfortable. Fantastic experience: I would not believe any one stars placed against this Physiotherapy. These folk in here are amazing. Super professional and have a genuine cure. I suffered from severe herniated Disc L5S1. I was operated on and regret I made that option to this day. 2 tears later it herniated again this worse than before with no option for surgery available I was advised to go to DC physiotherapy. The first session I could not believe the instant relief of pain yet I still needed more sessions, I signed up for ten sessions and now have my life handed back to me, after 10 sessions and physical exercises myself, I paid for an MRI and to the shock of the surgeons the disc had fully healed. Surgeons would not comment on this therapy(takes there job away) but I can confirm 100% this therapy works. I wish the lads all the best and to all future customers, trust them, they will fix it.

Positive experience: have to be honest,wasn't to kean on it when started. wasn't sure about it. went in to DC pycio few months before was told mite need surgery and I couldn't walk. 10 session later I'm dancing out and surgery cancelled. I know it's not complete fixed and I need mainten it with all the exercises the lads gave me. But I highly recommend doing before surgery. thanks lads .

Fantastic experience: I have been getting spinal decompression sessions done with Enda in DC I have to say my back has never been as good I play golf 2/3 times a week this was not possible 7 weeks ago even to play ones a week now I have no pain at all my movement is better with exercises that Enda give me without doubt the best I have been to if I could give 10 stars I would thanks Enda

When i went to them i couldn't drive or walk properly and was out of work due to a bulging disc (bearing in mind i work in a Hospital and couldnt even get physio there ) but the lads put me back together and im now on the road to recovery . Fantastic experience: Same day appointment. Enda provided a 'most likely' diagnosis which seems to have been accurate. He gave detailed advice on managing the pain and how to move around, all of which has worked out as he advised. A short laser treatment and some massage was given. Good service. I got what I paid for.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. I went there late January of this year with severe lower back pain. I met with Jamie who took a detailed history, he examined my back movements (which were non-existent at the time). I started non-surgical spinal decompression, and over the next couple of weeks I noticed a huge difference, not only pain wise, but that I was standing up straight again and not holding onto the wall for support. Jamie has given me daily exercises to help improve my core strength in order to protect my back. I'd highly recommend anyone suffering with pain to contact them.
