Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that is suffering with back pain or stiffness in the body. Ed and his team are just fantastic. I never really bought into this until i went. The results are amazing. I couldn't sleep at night my head felt stuffy, stiffness in my neck all gone thanks to ed and team.

Fantastic experience: I went after seeing an offer on Facebook and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. My back and neck were hurting so bad I couldn’t enjoy anything, but now I’m back at work and enjoying my golf. Ed is great at what he does and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic enough. I went in with neck soreness and stiffness that I had for over six months but was particularly bad for the last two months. It was affecting my sleep and some day to day activities. Ed explained how the treatment process goes and how the chiropractic treatment and the Zone Technique work. Week by week my neck loosened up and the constant ache faded. Now after about nine weeks of treatment the difference is huge. I'm probably between 80% and 90% pain free and still improving, but I also feel better overall. I'm sleeping better, breathing better and have more energy. If you're dealing with pain or other health issues I genuinely recommend going to Ed. Also his team, Breeda and Paulina are always so welcoming, friendly and professional. They create a lovely atmosphere in the clinic which means a lot, especially in the early days when it's all such a new experience.

Fantastic experience: The whole team here is brilliant! Warm and friendly from the second you open the door, Ed has massively helped with my day to day pain, and I’ve gone from having migraines every day to hardly ever . My posture has always been a huge problem for me my shoulders and neck often seize up to the point I can barely move and I’ve already noticed a huge change in this. Negative experience: I just went yesterday with sport injury in my back i"m really disappointed,after 45 min.hanky-panky my back is pain,as before,Dr.Ed did"t even get to it to the problematic part,and did"see that,because my tricot was on me under the "treatment". Thank you for your feedback. I’m genuinely very sorry the visit didn’t meet your expectations. For clarity: any injury, whether it’s a muscle strain, joint irritation, or ligament sprain, healing is always a process — no single treatment, whether chiropractic or otherwise, can fully resolve an injury in a single visit. Even when pain improves quickly, the underlying tissues still need time to repair. Our first appointment is normally an assessment to understand what actually went wrong. This includes neurological testing, movement analysis, and posture evaluation — all of which can be done fully clothed. Wearing a t-shirt certainly does not prevent us from assessing or treating the spine. Furthermore, we seldom adjust on the first visit, but because you were in significant discomfort, I made an exception in an effort to help. In hindsight, I obviously didn’t realise your expectation was unrealistic in wanting immediate and complete pain relief — and I take responsibility for not making the healing process clearer from the start. Since instant pain relief appeared to be your only goal, a medical approach such as a cortisone injection to mask the pain would have been more appropriate. Chiropractic care focuses on correcting the underlying dysfunction, which typically requires a course of care, rather than a single session. I genuinely wish you well in your recovery and training. The door is always open if you’d like to return and gain a better understanding of how healing works. Regards

Fantastic experience: Good evening all. I came to Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic about three months ago, physically very down, all over pain, crippling tiredness, brain fog, inability to sleep satisfactorily and just a literal wreck dependant on medications, which in themself were not helping my system chemically, at least not long term and I had been on them for years. I came here to a talk one night about fibromyalgia and signed up for a course of 'adjustments', and am so glad to have done this because my life has changed one hundred per cent, energy wise, concentration, sleep improvement, brain fog almost non existent and the pain or lack of it is unreal...thanks to Ed Bates and his fantastic knowledge of how the body works physically and also from a mental or psychological point of view, his treatment and advice is second to none. Fantastic experience: I came to the Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic following my husband receiving excellent treatment there. I was complaining of back pain which made it very difficult to move and walk. I also had a ongoing shoulder injury that i had given up on ever resolving successfully. Ed and his team are just fantastic. From the welcoming smile when you enter the clinic to the cheerful goodbye and see you next week you get on the way out, I feel in good hands. Within one week of starting chiropractic care I began to notice a real improvement and now weeks on I'm feeling so much better. I have noticed lots of other positive changes too which Ed explains will happen at each session. I never realised there was so much to it. Fantastic experience: First time I met Ed and his team over ten years ago,he stayed open late specifically to see me. I hobbled in with a crooked back in agony. Walked out 20 minutes later I walked out in very little pain far straighter than I walked in. Couple of adjustments later he had me right as rain. Ed is an extremely knowledgeable and positive guy, is passionate about his "job" as are all his staff. He has been a life saver time and again as my old job used to upset my back so easily. Has often helped with my own family as well to great success, thanks Ed for all your help down the years!

Fantastic experience: I literally stumbled upon this place,and I'm glad I did. I found an advert on Facebook about kilworth chiropractor clinic and I had just pulled a muscle in my back and could barely breathe with the discomfort. I went there not knowing what to expect. The set up is lovely and everyone working there is so nice and helpful. The first treatment involved getting scans done of my spine, which was painless and very informative as to how healthy my muscles were functioning and how my aligned my spine is. That was a sounding board to the treatment that followed, I had around three weeks of treatments, that being - two adjustments/ sessions per week. I felt extremely sleepy/ relaxed and tired when I came out of the sessions and had to have a sleep when I got home. My body felt different after every treatment, I felt more present, less stressed, my appetite improved( I have been an emotional not eater most of my life) after every session I felt really hungry, this might not be the same for everyone though. Dr. Ed Bates is the chiropractor and he is very kind and considerate and intuitive I believe as the treatments that were done have all stacked up to get me to a place where I feel more balanced and in my body, less in my thinking/ head!. i have enjoyed the treatments and got my second set of scans today and can't wait to see how my muscles and spine are better balanced. The whole journey has been fascinating and intriguing for me and I can't wait to feel even better. Highly recommend to anyone who has a spine and wants to be happy and well! Catherine

Fantastic experience: I have had the good fortune of meeting Ed Bates and his team a couple of years ago, I was recovering from Breast Cancer, and needed help with Lymphedema, and very quickly Dr Ed had it under control, a broken wrist later on, and again he worked his magic, I have kept going to him on a monthly basis, just for fine tuning , and I find it very beneficial for my wellbeing and whatever might be off slightly. At present I am very healthy, active and feeling so good, I would highly recommend a visit to Dr Ed Bates clinic in Kilworth ,Co Cork. I guarantee you, you won't be disappointed. His team of receptionist are very light hearted and friendly.

Fantastic experience: I'm having a wonderful experience with or on account of Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic. Continually getting pain relief as a result of an accident many years ago when I need it. I can testify that I would not be walking only for my visits to the Clinic. My first visit was me walking in to the Clinic Bowed over unable to stand up straight, and I walked out straight as a Plank, I continue to have my Body adjusted when needed and the relief is most noticeable to my wife when she sees me pain free again. My age is 77 years old I continue my visits to the Clinic as need be, as I have for about 25 years now. The Clinic keeps me walking.

Fantastic experience: When I first visited I was stiff and sore my mobility wasn’t great.Thankfully after one visit I felt much more agile and am now back playing golf as often as possible.My golf swing has improved and I can enjoy it again with my improved mobility and flexibility all thanks to Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic.

Fantastic experience: Definitely recommend Kilworth chiropractor. Went in with shoulder pains, neck pains and had trouble sleeping through the night. After a few sessions i could see big improvements. Minimal pains and my sleep had improved hugely! I keep going now every 2 to 3 weeks for maintenence and feel great. Fantastic experience: Best decision I ever made was to visit this clinic and be assessed by Ed Bates. Upon examination, Ed told me he could help me and oh boy did he ever. I call him “the magician” because anytime I go to him in pain, I come out pain free. Ed is a truly caring professional, informative, gentle, kind and explains everything he is doing so you understand what’s happening. The clinic itself is a warm, welcoming environment enhanced by three lovely ladies. Breda, Chloe and Jacinta are friendly, chatty and always accommodating regarding appointments. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Kilworth Chiropractic Clinic to anyone who looks to improve their health and well-being. Excellent customer service, very professional and friendly staff. Treatments are great if you have any health issues. However it's not a quick fix and you will need a few sessions before you notice results but it is worth it.

Fantastic experience: Booked in with Ed and the team as I was having issues with my neck and back years after getting similar treatment to sort a long list of issues with my back many years ago with another chiropractor. Fantastic experience: Dr Ed Bates is a brilliant chiropractor been going to him since I was a child. At times he his able to tell u whats hurting, wrong before u mention it to him. He uses the activator to which is great it does the same job as if you where being cracked but your not.
